  1. River is a professional carer, he should have known better, but I think many people have forgotten that he's still very very young and has been through a terrible experience. He's clinging to Silver as much as Silver is clinging to him and I think he's coping really well. He copes less well as things progress. Yes, he messes up. He messes up a lot, but he means well, and he really does love Silver
  2. Sandi had a part to play and played it well This is a very significant chapter as I hope you'll realize later on. It's key to a whole lot of angst later on.
  3. There are hard times ahead, a lot of hard times when the two boys define and re define their relationship. Silver wants a relationship where he can be happy and free. River wants a relationship where they can be equal. Is there any way they can both have what they want. I know there are times when they think they can.
  4. Glad to hear there's not really a problem with DL So glad you enjoyed the start and I hope you'll enjoy the rest. It's a bit of a roller coaster this one
  5. Thank you SO much for your kind words. I love to hear that my stories touch people and my characters come to life for them. It is a great privilege for me to share. What's your problem with reading Dangerous Liaisons? PM me and maybe I can fix it

    Chapter 21

Why on earth would you think that? *whistle*
  7. Thank you. I'm glad you like the ending. Honestly, I don't know where it came from. The whole David bit came from nowhere and kind of wrote itself. For example, I had no idea David's grave would have all those little trinkets on it until I actually wrote the description.
  8. I'm glad you 'liked' it This was quite a touch chapter to write and I actually cried. There was something in Silver that had just given up and didn't want to fight anymore. He's found his fighting spark again, but there's still a little more needed
  9. Thank you Don't worry, Marzipan knows better now
  10. He'll be fine. He has a hard head
  11. Don't worry. Faith gets his Rant away
  12. Sam is and continues to be a source of enormous strength for River and Silver. He's a good, good man. It's time for him to let go of his own guilt, and we find out a little more about that in a later book, and move on. River and Silver help him do that, and he helps them achieve so much more.
  13. I aim to tease
  14. Oooh, The Master! Now there's a powerful character. I can promise you that one day you will know the name of the Master and the truth about what happened to Silver with David and what was supposed to have happened here. It won't be in this book, though
  15. Considering I'm on book V, I think it's likely Silver survives
  16. I'm epileptic too, as are quite a few of my characters, especially in the stories I was working on back when I was coming to terms to it through a difficult phase in my life. Faith...well he's a product of his conditioning to some extent but there are absolutely no excuses for what he does - here and later. River and Silver are both much stronger than they think and if anyone can get through this, they can.
  17. Not all stories have happy endings. This one isn't entirely bad, though. At least Connor stopped running away.

    Chapter 21

I'm glad you like it. I think you might be surprised by the next one, which is much shorter and is the very last one.

    Chapter 21

And why on earth would you be afriad? What would I do? It's not as if I'm every cruel to my characters. At least I never push them beyond what they can bear.

    Chapter 22

Thank you so, so much. As if I would EVER get fed up with your comments. Comments are what I live for. They're like chocolate and coffee (and if you knew how much I like chocolate and coffee you'll know how important that is)

    Chapter 21

Hehe, thank you so much. I'm glad your nails are safe.

    Chapter 21

The time spent at the spar was a taste of heaven for Kei and Alex. They worked hard, but spent as much time as they could playing on the beach, in the sand, in the sea, Shay and Kathryn became firm friends, and they spent all their time together, until Shay and Kathryn left. They exchanged details and promised to keep in touch. But all good things come to an end, and they eventually found themselves at their last night. Kei and Alex ate supper on the balcony, watching the sun set over the sea.

    Chapter 20

It wouldn't be the first time
  24. I wrote myself into a bit of a corner here, because, after they were taken in the car, I realized I had no idea how to get them out of it. Then I remembered that a friend of mine, who was a psychiatric nurse, had the kind of button that old people wear around their neck in case they fall. If the button is pressed, the administrator calls and if they don;t get and answer, or if something is wrong, they send an ambulance. Of course, in those cases they already know where to send it, but I added a GPS chip which is not beyond the realms of possibility.
  25. Definitely a bitter sweet chapter I think. That kiss was SO special, at least in my head, I hope on paper too. And then that black car. God I hate that black car.
