Lord of the Rings - Stories

The Lord of the Rings follows Frodo Baggins, a hobbit tasked with destroying a powerful ring that threatens to plunge the world into darkness. Guided by allies from different races, his perilous journey across Middle‑earth tests loyalty, courage, and sacrifice, ultimately determining the fate of both good and evil. J. R.R. Tolkien created Middle Earth as mythology for Great Britain, which lost its own it the various invasions by the Romans, the Vikings, and the Normans.  
Lord of the Rings (LOTR) rights are split, with Embracer Group owning film, game, merchandise, and theme park rights through its acquisition of Middle-earth Enterprises, while the Tolkien Estate holds publishing rights, and separate TV rights were licensed to Amazon for The Rings of Power series. Warner Bros. (New Line Cinema) retains rights for its existing films but licenses new projects from Embracer.

    A short story based upon LOTR: The 4th Age - The Age of Man.

    The Age of Men or The Dominion of Men, marked the transition of Middle-earth from an age of myth and legend into a time dominated by mortal men. It began after the downfall of Sauron and the destruction of the One Ring in T.A. 3019, as chronicled in The Red Book of Westmarch.

    This was an entry to a competition, the story no longer exists on the original site where it was posted. It is complete in five chapters, at least as far as the tale goes, but it does not tell the whole story.
