A Slave's Fate - Stories

Scenes and moments between the main story "Jewel in the Dirt" and its sequel "Too Much Too Few".

The chapters are not chronologically, but will have a timeline explanation.

Here I will put one shots, scenes from different POVs, moments in between moments and the like for the series.

Upper-class slave Dante is sold from the glittering metropolis to a lonely farm. There Carolyn Mitchell not only rules over the slaves with an iron grip, but also over her family. To find his place and a new home there is hard, especially because his new mistress Alice is only superficially interested in him, he clashes right away with the work slave Tom and Frank, his mistress' brother, seems to haven taken quite a liking to him...

Remy, slave of the strict professor Therese and her wife Ellen, a colorful artist, takes devotionally care of the household and the students Therese lets live in her villa.

But the peacefulness is severely disturbed when Therese's niece Claire moves in, who soon fills the villa with parties and dubious activities. But what puts Remy personally in much greater turmoil is Claire's slave, Anduin. For the appearance of Remy's older brother seems to push open a portal to his past which he would have preferred to keep firmly closed...

The only world Chris knows is that of the hot dirty steel mill with its relentless pace and violent overseers. He is persuaded to escape, which unsurprisingly ends in disaster - and suddenly his world is a lonely farm, where he is met with contempt and distrust.

The price he has to pay for running away is high... and what does he gain?
