Cailen's Poem Archive - 7. This is what I'd say.

Probably my most favorite poem I have written.

If I could just find the words to tell you how much I love you

I would tell them to you everyday

I would speak of how you fill up my life,

And this is what I’d say

I love you like sunshine, you give me all my light

I love you like evening, because you tuck me in at night

I love you like summer, springtime, winter and the fall

For of all the beauty found on this earth, you’re the most beautiful of all

If I could give you anything, to show you how much I cared

I would offer up my own life, to make sure yours was spared

But if that wasn’t enough, I’d give you all I own

Because only when I’m with you, am I ever really home

If I could just find the words to tell you how much I love you

I would say them everyday,

I would speak truths, from all of my heart

And this is what I would say
