Cailen's Poem Archive - 1. The Darkness can never pull you in
Poem Written for my friend Christine, her name has been taken out and replaced with "my love."
Though the tides of worries may drown you under the strain
You will wash ashore on a distant beach, an island
And given the choice, you would do it all again
The Darkness can never pull you in my dearest friend
Though guilt and sadness may break open your heart
You will always find a friend when you need.
Even if you are kept apart
The Darkness can never pull you in my dearest friend
And though all hope might wither away and die
Some faith, some strength, some love, some passion
Will always keep you alive
The Darkness can never pull you in my dearest friend
Even when you consider you actions impure
Because no matter what sin, or hate, or crimes at all
Love is still love, I am sure
The Darkness can never pull you in my dearest friend
Because our beliefs, our faith can can never die
So worry not... if you still believe
Because all love comes from within...
The Darkness can never pull you in my dearest friend
Because in you... all I see is light...
And your heavenly gaze pierces my head
And you're feet are not bound, to this earthly ground.
You're an Angel my love... As I have said
