Growing Wings And Other Things - 19. Friend Or Foe?

A bit of an anger poem, and also catharsis about an incident that happened a month ago, All is good now smile.png
.

We shouldn’t be friends

We don’t like the same things

You’re always running your mouth

And I try to spread my wings

But you always end up handing me the clippings

You really hurt me, it wasn’t cool

You had no right, leave that shit for high school

I tried to laugh it off as I joked with you

But if you could do that to me

Then this friendship can’t be true

I wouldn’t be sad if we stopped being friends

We only know each other through someone we both consider our best pal

And I like him way better

But he can’t stand up to you when it depends

All said, you’re not a bad guy

But you dropped the ball

You fucking Neanderthal

Glad to be back, thanks for reading.
