Growing Wings And Other Things - 9. Tough Growing Up

I had an okay childhood but I had demons hopefully slayed and buried now ;)

Feeling silly Feeling like a child It's the only excuse I have For acting like like a fool I know I know I have growing up to do

But you have to start being responsible I've been responsible all my life I was big brother, I was always the first one to get the knife.

Growing up was always hard But I did too little, and now I'm scarred My only solitude is the stars But they do nothing now Except illuminating my scars

The teens are done behind my back Now it's twenties, I'm ready to attack With love and humility like I always did

I'll kill them with kindness And be the light To cure your blindness

I love you all
