Growing Wings And Other Things - 12. I Missed You

Wrote this in a chat message on the spot lol

I missed you like a fish out of water misses the sea.
I missed you like the honey misses the bee.
I missed you like a dog would miss his bark.
I missed you like a firework would miss its spark.
I missed you like a kid misses the park.
I missed you like Noah misses his Ark.
I missed you like a cat misses its meow.
I missed you like a prince never misses a bow.
I missed you like a cat misses its pajamas.
Like a traveler forgetting the Bahamas.
I missed you like when bees miss they're knees.
I missed you like a fridge misses its freez.
I missed you like an optimist never misses to bless you when you sneez.
Or like a pessimist never missing his "Oh Geez"
I missed you like I missed you last night.
I missed you like a sunshine misses itself for not always being bright.
I missed you like a needle misses its eye.
I missed you like the clouds miss the sky.
Or like a pan misses its fry.
Or even how a mother misses her baby's cry.
Believe what you want.
But none of these are lies.
