Growing Wings And Other Things - 11. Angels Don't Fly so low
Falling in love probably feels like dying happy.
The day my heart stood still
I didn't see it coming
I couldn't take a pill
Out of nowhere it came
Maybe it was God's will
The day my heart stood still
It lurked and loomed, a happy chill
But I can't be dying, this couldn't be
For some reason I liked the thrill
As I felt the cold breeze cover me
But then I saw the sign and I knew it was my time to go
Because I saw your face
And I know for a fact
Angels don't fly so low
Today my heart stood still
I'm glad I didn't have a pill
To ease the pain
Thank God for his will
Because in the end love was my greatest gain
If I closed my eyes
I would have given in to the lies
This is the best thing that's ever happened to me
Because Today is the day I died happy
