A Gift of Brilliance
The lemon's taste I remember well. It was my first, the best, and only. Our sugar on it was just right, all of this tinged the tide pushing against mossy cliffs so brightly, in brilliant foam and the force of all the deep ocean. But touching softly, this downy skin stretched over a dragon's muscled body. As if the ragged Shade were gold, the dragon's tide into it rolled, and basked in it. It was an afternoon in shining fruit, for shining Shade, in shining mood. Should there be any more tides, the Shade's stony insides will be pressed into diamonds.
