Poetry - 2. Popol Vuh
This is a poem I wrote some years ago for a guy I loved so much it hurt. The original I wrote in Spanish and I'm translating for those who want to read my poetry. Hope you like it! I want to dedicate it to AC Benus and Mikiesboy, who have been encouraging me to do this. I'm also adding the original version.
Invent me again,
tear me to pieces
turn me into ashes
and create out of my soul
a new heart and a new me ...
Invent me again
and with your hands
turn me into a dream
and unwind my soul
to thread me again at your own will ....
Tear me apart,
break my existence
into rags of old absence
and put my pieces back together ....
Give birth to a new being
and give him the albus breath of life ....
Invent me again
to be yours ....
***************************
Invéntame otra vez,
hazme pedazos ....
Conivérteme en cenizas
y concibe de mi
un nuevo corazón y un nuevo yo ....
Invéntame otra vez
y entre tus manos
conviérteme en un sueño
y deshebra mi ser
para enhebrarme nuevo a tu capricho ....
Desgájame,
destroza mi existencia
en jirones añejos de ausencia
y junta mis pedazos
para armarme de nuevo ....
Columbra un nuevo ser
y dale el albo soplo de existencia ....
Invéntame otra vez
para ser tuyo ....
