Poetry - 1. Cosmic thread

A poem I wrote some time ago for Blue-eyed Miracle.
Somewhere in the darkness,
somewhere in the corner of the universe
where my life was lost,
the threads that hold myself together
got entangled far across...
Mingled with the threads that hold together
your far away existance,
my soul found solace in the knowing
that even through the distance,
there is a shining light upon the skies,
that guides me,
the light of your blue eyes.
And even if the universe conspires
against my never being able to hold you,
do know that through the distance I embrace you,
and kiss you, and think of you, and miss you.
A cosmic thread that has brought us together
and distance won't untangle now or ever,
cause even If I never really hold you,
through time and space there's joy
in knowing that I love you now forever
and that you love me too, beautiful boy.
Opinions, reviews and suggestions are always welcome! Thanks!

Its so beautiful. I can feel trough you. The bonding, mutual Love, and the pain that never hurt so much...everything. The boy with the blue eyes is so lucky to have you. Nice poem... :)

Lovely Roberto, perfect description of online romance, the joy and the pain of it.

Nicely done.

Thanks a lot Tim! I don't really think of myself as a poet. Coming from you, it's a great honor!

Hey Emi!

The boy with the blue eyes is unfortunately just a character. This poem will show in the story Blue-eyed Miracle at some point and you'll understand the why. In the story... well I can't spoil it!

Beautiful poem. I too got an 'ethernet' sort of feel from the relationship being written about here; I don’t know if that's true, but it seems to fit.

Thanks for posting this, and I look forward to seeing more! (Also, join us in the 'Live-Poets' forum if you want. We have a lot of fun there.)
