Alex's Little Book of Poems - 14. A Life to Win
Here is another poem!
And so the drums beat,
At this monumental feat,
It has ended,
Although surprisingly splendid,
Such a lovely loss,
Such a far toss,
The blissful silence,
Oh a simple science,
Two shall part,
With not a broken heart,
Their lives to begin,
A world to win,
No way to lose,
No need for blues,
Look to the sky,
And you’ll see why,
There is a sun,
For everyone,
And so long as it shines,
And the lines,
Of light fall upon us,
There is no need to fuss,
We will survive,
So take a dive,
Into our world,
Let your mind be unfurled,
Let the wind take you,
Move beyond the queue,
The earth,
Ready for your rebirth,
Open your eyes,
And be so wise.
Hope it was enjoyable!
