Alex's Little Book of Poems - 2. The Key to Life
Here it is, poem number two.
Life is unfair,
And can be a long or short affair,
But it is for you to remember,
That you are not a mere glowing ember,
Yet a distant star,
Lost in a sea of blackness that extends far,
Remember that you are a light,
To ignite the hearts amidst a blight,
You are bright and wonderful,
And be oh so mindful,
That many will curse your luck,
The key is to give not a fuck.
