Poetry Saga FA2016 - 1. Poem 1: Haiku - Simply Ignored Things
strong>Haiku are the form of poetry, which shows 'How simply we blindside simple things around us.' So I thought these are the correct ones for this anthology.
Simply Ignored Things
Basho Style Haiku Poems:
Summer Game Boys
Shirt and shirtless teams
sweating tan skin—bouncing ball.
These hot summer games.
Rain and Frogs
Rainbands spawned atop
little breeze—sounds of frogs
drop by drop they fall.
A Sunny Day
Cloudless morning sky
Still puddles— Reflecting trees
Fall's first sunny day.
Issa Style Haiku Poems
Butterfly
A caterpillar
ruins my tree— reborn to taste
August's sword lily.
Street Cat
A street cat running
in rainy night, scared, cuddles
between my cold feet.
Spider
Walking with eight legs
she crawled under my duvet
scaring me to death.
strong> to SkinnyD and AC Benus for their valuable suggestions for my poetry. all for reading my poetry. And don't forget to leave a review. I Love to hear what you think.
