Poetry Saga FA2016 - 4. Poem 4: Prose Poetry – Moving On

strong>AC Benus forced me to take on this. So, any complements go for him. And all the faults doubtlessly are mine.

Moving On

Me and my ex riding on a bike.

And its full moon.

He was going for the other person

and dropped me in the middle of the way.

I said my goodbyes to him,

and thought 'that's it ~ the end'.

And as I looked around at all the beauty

from the flowers which blossomed for the moon,

I felt like they are also unhappy for me.

strong>:thankyou:  to SkinnyD and AC Benus for their valuable suggestions for my poetry. :thankyou:  all for reading my poetry. And don't forget to leave a review. I Love to hear what you think.:D

You're short poems shine, haiku and tanka. But I'm glad to see you trying something a bit longer. It's harder, but worthwhile.
Your poem was sad. Your ex seems rather cruel. I'm sure the moon and the moon flowers were sad for you. Nice work Emi, hope to see more of these from you!!

I hope you agree this version is able to touch readers' hearts. It's straightforward, and the beautiful abandonment, imaged by being alone on the road with the moon and flowers, just says volumes

All the credit must go to Ben. He just forced me to go with this rather than the short one I planned to write. And I glad he did. And I am happy to hear you liked it.

Cruel or not, he just don't deserve me. More!!! I'll try my best. :)

Thank you for the review Tim.

Eloquent sadness... brutally honest, yet sensitive... might be my favorite...

I am glad to hear that Gary. And thank you for the review... :)
