Joshua Miles - 15. Art

Anthea wanted to have a girls’ only party at her place and invite her closest friends.

Firstly, she rang her friend Cynthia Broderick. Anthea had previously been at Cynthia’s parties where a topless waiter had often been present. She decided that she could now perhaps, outdo Cynthia.

“I’ve been meaning to call you” said Cynthia “I was worried about how you are coping on your own.”

“Oh I’m doing just fine thanks”

“That’s good news, are you keeping busy?”

“I am now, I have a young man comes to do household jobs, he’s very versatile”

“Pleased to hear that, but are you getting out and about?”

“Yes, just last Saturday I went to a party at my cleaner’s house”

“You socialise with your cleaner?”

“She is more than just my cleaner, she is a good friend, better than some”

“I am so sorry Anthea, I really should be a better friend to you”

“Oh it’s not just you, I’ve not heard from any of the girls since the funeral”

“Oh, really? That’s disappointing, we need to remedy that”

“That’s why I’m ringing. I’m thinking of having a luncheon in two weeks and I would like you to come”

“Two weeks?”

“Yes, I was thinking on Saturday, as he’s not available on week days”

“Who’s not available?”

“My young man who helps around the house”

“Why does he have to be there, I thought it was a girls’ only affair?”

“Oh it is but Joshua has some special talents that I think you’ll just love”

“Oh really, and does he like to show his talents in public?”

“Most certainly he does”

“Then I guess I must be there”

“Excellent, I’ll send you the details by email”

Joshua was booked by Anthea for a life drawing art class. This meant going shopping again for an appropriate apron that would hide his manhood but expose as much as possible otherwise.

He settled on a very short red leather apron that was labelled ‘Pizza Chef’s Apron’

He could not try it in the shop so when he arrived home he immediately stripped off and put on the apron. At three quarter length, but still flaccid, it just covered him. However, when erect the apron was lifted so high, it concealed nothing.

He practised all week, two different approaches. First he tried to not become erect by thinking of anything other than sex. Not confident that approach would work, because a seventeen year old needs very little prompting, he tried different poses that would feature his arse, but avoid displaying any unwanted erection.

On Saturday morning he went to an underwear shop and purchased a very brief G string to ensure the necessities remained covered.

Joshua was introduced to the art teacher, who said “What do you mean, you are not going to be completely naked. You do realise this is a life drawing class?”

“Maybe, but I’m not ready to expose myself in that way”

“Then I’ll have to have a word with the host of this party”

The indignant art teacher expressed her concern to Anthea, who replied “If that’s what the young man wants then that’s how it will be”

“But...but...”

“No buts Star, there’s more to him than just a dick. He has a very beautiful body and if we miss a few inches of it then we will have to use our imaginations. Isn’t that the sign of a good artist?”

“Well...well...” replied Star, who was feeling just a little chastised by Anthea, so she backed down and tried to recover the situation by saying “Well of course you’re right, a professional, like myself knows that. I just wasn’t sure your guests might feel the same”

“I’m sure they’ll survive and I’m certain they’ve all seen a dick before so if they feel inclined to add that feature to their work they can draw upon their imaginations”

Now feeling she was back in control, Star added “Excellent decision Anthea”

Joshua had played the Scott fantasy for so long it had become second nature to him. So much so that he had almost ignored Malcolm with whom he had a chance of a real relationship. So, having no booking for the following weekend he decided to spend as much time with Malcolm as he could.

First thing was to make a date for Saturday and see how it went from there. They decided on a day at Coogee beach. Just as beautiful as Bondi without the posers and less crowded with tourists. They met in the park on Arden St. and proceeded straight onto the sand. Despite living in the area all his life, Joshua had rarely been to the beach and was totally unfamiliar with surf conditions, although he could swim, having learned at Wylie’s baths when he was younger. Malcolm was a complete surfaphobe and had only agreed to please Joshua.

They spread their towels on the sand and lay on their stomachs, heads on folded arms so they could talk.

“Are you going to take your shirt off?” Malcolm asked.

“Are you?”

“I will if you do, ashamed of your body?”

“It’s not that, but I’m so pale I will probably burn to a crisp in minutes”

“Wait” said Malcolm, as he sat up and riffled around in his backpack. “Here!” he announced as he offered Joshua a tube of sunscreen.

“Gee thanks, I never thought to bring some”

“I can put it on for you, if you like”

“I like very much… to feel your fingers all over my body”

“I thought as much. I’ll enjoy it too and then you can do me”

Protection applied they two lie down again to soak up the rays and chat.

Malcolm asked “You know how you do this thing at parties, don’t you get embarrassed exposing yourself to those older women”

“At first I thought I would, but your mum taught me to appreciate my body as it is”

“Yeah but what about getting a stiffy?”

“I don’t show my dick. Just my butt”

“How do you do that?”

“I always wear a short apron, in fact it’s become my signature item”

“And that keeps you down?”

“I sometimes wear a G string, just to be sure”

“Oh, that’s clever, but I couldn’t do that. Especially having those women touching me. Doesn’t it make you feel creepy?”

“No, I like it, knowing that by body is appreciated”

“And what do you mean my mum taught you”

“Well, she made me think about myself and the assets I have, to appreciate them and to allow others to appreciate them. She also taught me to allow pleasure into my life, especially pleasure from my body”

Malcolm turned over, sat up and announced “I don’t want to hear anymore”

“There isn’t anymore to tell”

“Then let’s leave it that way”

“Don’t be like that, your mum’s a nice lady and I like her a lot”

“Oh really….you like her a lot…. What does that mean?”

“She was very good to me when I was staying at Scott’s place, even when she found out I wasn’t Scott”

“Good in what way?”

“I thought you didn’t want to hear anymore”

“No I don’t, let’s change the subject”

“Sure, what do you want to talk about?”

“Nothing, I’m going for a swim”

“Can I join you?”

“It’s a free beach”

“If that’s your attitude, I’ll stay here” concluded Joshua.

He continued to soak up the sun for another twenty minutes, until he realised he was starting to turn red, panicked and put on his shirt.

Sitting up be scanned the surf for Malcolm but could not see him anywhere. Then he realised that by lying down he had missed all the hot men on the beach. Ogling then occupied his time until he noticed a lifesaver remove his shirt, wave at another lifesaver, point out to sea and grab his rescue board. The man paddled out while his colleague kept an eye on him and also made a call on his two-way radio.

By the time the rescuer reach the swimmer in difficulty the beach buggy had arrived and the rescue team awaited the return of rescuer on the board.

Joshua’s attention was taken by the sight of the lifesaver paddling furiously back to the beach after rescuing a young man. As a second lifesaver lifted the rescued man off the board, Joshua recognised the green and white striped shorts he was wearing.

“Oh my god, it’s Malcolm”

He immediately ran down to the rescue scene to be check.

“That’s my friend” he gasped to the lifesaver who was giving him CPR “Is he going to be all right?”

There was no answer but the second rescuer pulled Joshua back, saying “Give my mate room to work”

“But he’s my boyfriend, I don’t want anything to happen to him”

“Just sit on the sand and breath yourself, I’m sure your friend will come round”

Joshua watched anxiously as the lifesaver worked on Malcolm. Then almost simultaneously he coughed, spat out water and gasped a huge breath of air.

“Oh your stupid bastard” Joshua yelled at Malcolm “I thought you were gone. Thank you, thank you so much guys”

“That’s our job, and in this case, our pleasure.

Joshua kneeled by Malcolm, grabbed him and hugged him tightly, then the lifesaver said “Let your friend rest and recover. In a few minutes we’ll take him up to the medical room for observation before you can take him home”

Malcolm was put on the rescue buggy and transported to the medical room. After an hour of observation, he was told “You can go home now, but rest when you go home and we would like you both to attend a surf safety talk here, sometime in the near future.”

“Anything you want” replied a thankful Joshua.

“Now how are you getting home?” asked the supervisor.

“Well, we came on the bus” replied Malcolm

“But we’ll be going home by taxi” added Joshua “My shout”

“Great, you should be able to get one up on Arden Street”

As the young men said the final thanks and left the medical room, the supervisor said “Don’t forget to come back for the safety talk soon guys. Check our website for upcoming dates”

“Sure thing” they both replied.

In the taxi on the way home, Joshua asked “How did you get yourself in to trouble?”

“I should have known better, I know I’m not good in the surf but I was just so mad at you I just wasn’t thinking straight”

“I’m sorry I upset you, I didn’t mean to. I feel awful now. Due to my stupidity I could have lost you, forever. Your mum would be devastated”

“Yeah, about my mum; I don’t know what went down at Scott’s place and I don’t want to know, it all sounds too creepy. So if we’re going to be boyfriends you can’t mention it again and probably shouldn’t come to my place when she’s home”

“If that’s what you want, I don’t want to hurt you, but won’t she think it’s strange if your boyfriend never visits?”

“I’ll handle that”

Malcolm then noticed they were in his street and said to the taxi driver “The third house along, the one with the red brick fence”

As the taxi drove off and Malcolm opened the front gate, Joshua asked “Will your mum be home?”

“Probably no, she has one of her women’s gettogethers today”

“So does that mean I can come him?”

“Just for a short while”

“Are you going to tell her about your brush with death?”

“Of course. Her and dad will be mad and say I told you so, but I’ll have to take my medicine and probably be grounded, well at least from the beach. It might help if I tell them first about the safety talk, then they won’t have so much to say”

Joshua made sure his boyfriend was comfortable and resting before he left. “I’ll call you later and see how it went with your ols”

“Ok and thanks for looking after me”

“I shouldn’t have put you in the situation where you needed looking after”.

“Don’t think like that; shit happens”

The young men had a long phone conversation that night, concluding with Joshua saying “I’ll call you in the morning. Have a good night’s sleep and hopefully I’ll dream about you”

Chapter Comments

I found part of Malcolm's request “Yeah, about my mum; I don’t know what went down at Scott’s place and I don’t want to know, it all sounds too creepy. So if we’re going to be boyfriends you can’t mention it again and probably shouldn’t come to my place when she’s homevery odd. I cannot fathom why  Lorna would make any comment at all if Joshua was to visit Malcolm as his boyfriend, unless Malcolm is worried Lorna will try and hit on Joshua in his presence. I assume Malcolm will make up another name for his boyfriend, but by not ever having him visit, Lorna is bound to be curious as to whether a boyfriend exists or is just a figment of Malcolm's imagination.

Anthea has proven herself to be far more lively than what I anticipated. In this chapter she displayed a tongue almost as sharp as the knife she so lovingly caressed Joshua's body with, particularly his butt, in the last chapter. She hissed at Star (OMG what a pretentious name) and put her in her place quick smart. Star's attempt to save face was so obvious, even blind Freddy could have seen it. Anthea also had a not so subtle dig at Cynthia, which Cynthia took on the chin without complaint. It will be very interesting to see how the life drawing party pans out. Will there be any "cat fights"?

Joshua's confidence in himself is soaring; he is proving the veracity of the old adage "sex sells". I wonder if a rendezvous with fellow "nude waiter" Justin is in the pipeline. Only the wombat knows.
