You're so Weird - 8. Chapter 8

This is a very short one. I hope you enjoy!

I just lie there with my eyes open, listening to Liam showering. It's been a while. I wonder what he's up to. Is he getting ready for me? Or just taking his time? He's really taking forever. I glance at my phone and reply with a smiling emoji to Olivia, who randomly texted me just before Maggie and Michael came back home, shortly before midnight. They found us downstairs, watching a movie. Brody had already fallen asleep, leaning against Patrick's shoulder with his mouth slightly open. He didn’t even stir when his parents arrived. They looked less drunk than I expected. Maggie clasped her hand over her heart, her expression a mix of surprise and delight. She must have found the scene adorable because she quickly snapped a photo before they ushered us away, and Michael carried Brody upstairs. Despite his condition, and Brody’s weight, fortunately, nothing went wrong.

The water stops running. I put away my phone, close my eyes, and try to relax. This day has taken its toll on me, and I’m not sure if I’m ready for the night. Whatever we do today, it won’t just be fooling around anymore. And I don’t even know where we stand. I know a single kiss can be worth a thousand words, but beyond all that cliché poetic stuff, having some clarity wouldn’t hurt.

I hear a sound and crack one eye open to see Liam peeking from the bathroom with his happy smile. I smile back and stretch.

“Cutie,” he says, coming in wearing just his boxer briefs, his hair still damp from the shower. He moves closer, and I scoot to the right so he can sit next to me. He takes my hand and traces little circles on my palm with his thumb.

“How do you feel?” he asks after a moment.

“Good,” I say, surprised at how right it feels to say it. This is what I usually say to be polite and to keep others from probing further. “I’m a little bit tired.”

“I told you, that’s what you get for dealing with Brody and Patrick.”

“Yeah, that too. But it’s just past my usual bedtime.”

“It is late,” Liam agrees. “Anything you want to do before sleep?”

“Maybe,” I whisper. “Can you lie next to me for a minute?”

“Sure.”

I let him under the blanket and turn to my side so he can squeeze in, facing me.

“Still more room than on the couch.”

“Yeah,” I reply, and we giggle. Liam then gently grabs my chin and nudges his nose against mine a couple of times, then kisses me on the lips. My whole body melts, except for one part that stiffens. Feeling a rush of warmth, I pull him closer without thinking. It’s as if nothing else exists outside our blanket fort. I grip his hand, thankful he’s right here with me. We stay like that for a while, not talking, just being close. My mind races, but I'm trying to stay cool, to remember how to breathe properly. Everything feels new, kind of scary, but the good kind of scary.

“Uh, tell me. Did I make you gay?” I blurt out, feeling dumb for not finding better words.

“What?” Liam asks, looking amused.

“Because if I did, then I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to. I know you just wanted to…”

“Jesus, shut up already,” he giggles and pulls me closer, our cheeks touching. “You didn’t make me anything, okay?” he says softly, almost right into my ear. “I was gay for you the moment I saw you. And do you want to know the truth? It pissed me off at first, because even before we met, I wanted to boycott you.”

“Even before we met…?”

“Yeah… I’m sorry,” he says, squeezing me even tighter. “If I had known you were so…”

“And if I wasn’t?” I ask, my heart racing. “Would you have turned my life into a living hell? I mean, it already was so…”

“No! Look,” he interrupts, pulling back to meet my eyes. “It had nothing to do with that. I would have gotten over it eventually, no matter who you were. I only did this… I think I did it to punish my parents.”

“Punished for what?”

“For never giving a shit about my opinion,” he says, his gaze drifting as if recalling painful memories. “Look, when they told me you were coming to live with us and would be my roommate… I hadn’t spoken to them in three days.”

“How do you not speak to your parents for three days?”

“Three days is rookie numbers. And no, I don’t even remember what they did. It’s always the small things, like, ‘Don’t wear this, don’t say that,’ getting grounded left and right for no reason.”

“Really?” I ask, trying to think of any situations that could back it. “Your parents seem so chill. You should meet my mom.”

“I’d love to.”

This makes me think. Wouldn’t it be cool? She would totally love to meet Liam and see that we’re friends… or whatever we are at this point. I wonder why Maggie didn’t think to bring the rest of the family. Well, it’s not like they know her, and with six people on board, this would get expensive. But if… if my mom feels better in a few weeks, then I’ll have to make it happen.

“I feel so good right now,” I whisper, my inner voice, even now, trying to convince me that I don’t deserve it.

“Me too,” Liam says and gently slides his fingers through my hair, grazing my scalp softly.

“Oh god…”

Maybe I deserve it, maybe I don’t. I don’t care anymore. It feels beyond good. Just a few minutes ago, all I wanted was to go to sleep, but now I’m in this strange heat that powers me like a shot of adrenaline to the heart.

Half-consciously, I place my hand on Liam’s chest and move up and down, in sync with his hand playing with my hair. We both breathe through our mouths and there’s no need to speak anymore. After a minute of this, I reach his hairless abdomen, amazed by how firm and soft it is.

“Mmmhh…” Liam moans as I graze just above the waistline of his boxers. I let my fingers wander a bit and brush against the bristly patch of recently shaved pubic hair. Just an inch or two further, and I can feel the rigid root of his boner.

“Mike… you sure?”

“Mhmmm…”

His hand goes down to meet mine, and we quickly get rid of our underwear. Soon, we have our dicks in our hands and jerk each other with passion. Our fists bump as we go and somehow it makes it even better.

That’s it for all my fanfic fantasies. No delicate movements, no creative positions, no teasing talk. All that matters is getting our rocks off and doing it as quickly as possible. And I wouldn’t have it any other way. Our cheeks touch again and I can feel Liam’s sweat as we seem to try to outdo each other. Our panting intensifies and our legs kick. I don’t hold back, I don’t care if I sound like a squirrel or any other rodent for that matter. I moan as I cum in Liam’s fist and the sensation blinds me. Before I finish, Liam holds his breath and joins me, with a lot more to show for it. A few seconds later, everything is hot, moist, and sticky. We pant as if we’ve just run a marathon, our sweat slowly cooling on our hot skin.

“Holy shit,” Liam whimpers. “Holy fucking…”

We cuddle even closer. I know we need to clean up, but it can wait. So can the laundry. Thank God for the washing machine in our bathroom. We just need to be careful not to do it every night, or Maggie will become suspicious.

Thanks for reading! Chapter 9 (already???) is coming soon. Time to meet some new characters. Let me know what you think so far!
Oh, and thank you for your ongoing and overwhelming support. I don't know what I'd do without you guys 🥰. Recent events reminded me that nothing can be taken for granted and to appreciate every single day. I'll do my best to remember it.

I have some similar feelings to @weinerdog.  however, I interpreted the comments about introducing new characters to refer to Maggie and Mike visiting Mike's mother.
