Just to clarify: this is a spinoff of 'The World Beyond the Mirror', although if you haven't read it you won't miss too much.

Wyatt's mom loves the bakery across town. She goes twice a week, but when she breaks her hip, it falls on Wy to be the errand boy, and for the first time, he meets the baker's son his mom has told him about a few times. They become friends easily, but could they eventually be anything more?
Clarification: this story begins at around the time Erin meets Nate in The World Beyond the Mirror (TWBTM), and centers around friends of Erin's, and is almost completely separate from TWBTM. There's almost no magic in this one (it's not even a fantasy story for the most part), unfortunately. It's the first of (hopefully) a few more stories that will take place in the same worlds as TWBTM and explore the lives of side characters featured in the main story. This one centers on Wyatt and Tim (mostly Wyatt), who you'll meet soon in TWBTM, if you're reading it
