A week after the verdict, the entire Corporate Sector seceded from the Alliance and formed a political entity called the Consolidated Federation.

Within the month the Corporate War, the civil war that everyone in the Alliance dreaded, had begun.

This is an extremely fast paced and entertaining short story. As a stand alone entity it is sound and robust, it also has the breadth of potential scope to spawn a flurry of additional off shoots, very exciting.

This looks like it could be a prequel to Operation Hammerhead.
I hope this was just a warm up for a bigger story :*)
