Roadie In Love - Prologue. Prologue

Okay, so Lenny Allen wasn't the best looking guy in Kevin's senior class. He was far from ugly and Kevin was pretty sure he loved him. Kevin was devastated when he heard the news. Killed by a drunk driver on his way home from the alcohol-free New Year's Eve party he went to with Kevin. Well, both were there together, but came separately. 'Fucking ironic,' he thought.

So obviously, 2024 didn't start out well at all. Almost six months and a number of losses later, he was standing in his living room, alone, wondering why he shouldn't kill himself.

He was hardly paying attention to the TV, but when a video for his current favorite song came on, he paid attention. He'd never seen the video before, never even seen what the band, Deja Vu, looked like. But the lead guitarist was gorgeous. Kevin decided he just had to find a way to meet him.

Another intriguing start, Lee!

And a hope that the rest is as satisfying as my others, I'm sure.

Another story involving a band. This is in your wheelhouse. Is that a picture of the lead singer? Or the protagonist? Either way it makes picturing the story THAT much better

Shoot. I forgot the other picture. That's Kevin. I'll have to add Eric's picture with Chapter two, since he's not a big player in chapter 1.

Sometimes life just doesn't make sense; but then is it actually supposed to?  Let's hope that whatever change or decision he makes will be the best one for him.  An impulsive action can be good or bad, we often don't know which until a great deal of time has passed.

Happy for a new story, but Kevin's current state of mind really saddens me. Let's see where this goes?

I suspect it will get better fast.

Yep, I’m looking forward to see how this works out!
