I think you somehow left out the terms "over-indulged, and spoiled", from your descriptions. You know that you would be at a total lost, without your prized wieners.

This comment, along with @Summerabbacat's post, reflects the optimism that I felt reading this excellent chapter. I also enjoyed the scenes they shared with Butch, and with the helpful bank teller. Simon covered the legal issues, for the company, and for the trust funds, and let Martin's sister and her husband know he also available to deal with any legal issues they might have. This was a great first step in uniting the newly combined family together❣️

I was somewhat shocked when I saw that your story was ending at this point. It seemed a bit like they were making plans for the next project, before any deal had been made? Now that you said there will be a book 2, it now makes more sense to me. I had way too many "what if" type of questions" about their future project planning, along with more "Counting their eggs before they hatched" type of questions. I will be along for your next helping of this "Hollywood and Vine" stardom drama.

The awards dinner made Johnny look like he had become an overnight success story when we have had 25 chapters that detailed that his success had been a long, and hard struggle to reach tonight's podium. But it was Violet's continued faith in him, along with his "all in attitude" and goals, that made tonight possible. Like his newly acquired journal, we readers are also waiting backstage, for the next chapter, in their combined journey ahead. Well done @Albert1434!

So very sad to hear our fears about @Geron Kees confirmed. Every time I saw his name, I would check when was the last time that he posted on GA, hoping for his return. The last mood he had listed on this site, showed that he was was Happy! What a great loss this is. You will long be remembered and may you RIP, my most favorite author, and online friend❣️

What revelations were revealed of the past, present, and personal futures, in three well written chapters. I could expand my comments with many specifics, but in short; I greatly enjoyed reading your story❣️ Thanks for sharing your work with us.

Silas seemed to be aware of who James was. I think it's highly likely they would have done a compete background check of everyone included on this important mission, and on the ship. I doubt they would let just anyone to board their ship, without knowing who they actually were. Yes even a janitor, or any other service worker. It would only take one bad apple, to cause irreparable harm to the ship, and/or its mission.

This was after all, a government explore and resettle mission. Although James was not hired to serve in his expert capacity, they had to be aware that he was qualified to continue on with the ship. He was the expert in interacting with alien beings, and their cultures. This seem to have been a premeditated, and a planned total evacuation of the ship. Just a stray thought, but it could help explain why he was the only one left onboard the Horizon's Edge vessel. under Silas's care. In other words, a total guess.

This chapter was very different, from what I was anticipating would happen. It changes our focus from the past, to a much more caring, and human focused future. The fact that they would be welcome to return to earth, shows an acceptance, and understanding of their actions. The outcome of this mission, will be left up to James and Mateo to resolve in their own way. What will they find out there, that will will be deemed acceptable to them? I loved how this chapter has evolved, and I'm looking forward to your part three❣️

Chapter 1 leaves us in a search for answers, to so many different types of "Lost In Space" rabbit holes. What possible answers, or new questions will the return to earth provide? Yes, I'm hooked for 2 more new chapters❣️

Martin's core support group of family, friends and employees in the know about different relationships' and business activities, continues to grow. Nathan is trying to tie up loose ends with his closest family members, and moving his belongings, to his now, new shared home. There were a lot of moving parts in this chapter of the story, but so far, so good. Waiting to find out how things continue to develop from here❣️ The final party plans are being set in motion now. What could possibly go wrong? 😇

A short chapter, but it makes Violet's reactions to the script very intriguing. She will figure out what seems "so familiar" about this script, given more time to process her thoughts. Carrington is a bit of a wildcard, in all that is going on, at this moment in time? Looking forward to see what continues, to develope about him, as our story progresses. This is not Violet's first time, playing this ballgame of motives, and evaluating risks!

We received a a temporary break in our weather very early this AM. Temps dropped from Mid 90's to mid 50's, and air pollution dropped by 2/3's.❣️ The air quality will get slightly worse in the next few days, but not nearly as awful as the last 4 days have been. The fire smoke had been extreme here lately, and we have had very little, to no rain for ten days. We had a couple of heavy, but short rain showers late afternoon Sat, and they helped a lot. Next week should bring cooler temps. Fingers crossed. Take care, eyeryone.
