Poems of Reflection - 3. On Going Year

It’s a new year
We’re a quarter of the way done
So what have you accomplished?
Are your New Year's resolutions still on track?
We always ask questions

Questions like, do you rent or own?
Do you plan on having kids?
How much do you make a year?
There should only be one question
The only question we should be asking is

Are you happy?
Are you truly happy?
Who cares if you ever get married?
Who cares if you ever have kids?
Who cares how much you make?

Be who you are
Be the change you want to see everyday
Even if no one supports you
All you need is to believe in yourself
Take risk, but also be cautious
It’s a new year and it’s barely begun
It’s not how you start, it’s how you finish.

Hey everyone Noah here, I realize it's been awhile but I'm back and ready to continue sharing
my poetry as well as my book that's coming along thanks to the support of my husband @astone2292
First chapter of the book coming soon. I hope everyone has had a wonderful start to the new year and wonderful things
come continue to come your way. Have a wonderful weekend and a wonderful Easter
-Noah
