Guardian - 25. Breaking down your walls

Gabriel makes a break through Scott's barriers.

He hadn’t bothered counting the days he had been in the room. He was pretty sure a few days had passed and he might have been in there for a week. Heather would come in, clean his sad excuse for a bathroom and feed him three times daily. He didn’t bother talking to her, but he did try to read her. With the constant practicing he did with Seren, he was finally able to pin point thoughts during his meditation. He could feel the emotions of the wolves even more because of it. It was a whole new experience. Thinking back when Seren would leave him be in his own thoughts, Gabriel hated what he was. Now it was something he wanted to master. Something he felt like he could use to make just the smallest difference. He didn’t stop trying to get to Scott though. After about three more days, Gabriel began to scream out the door. He would put him down, call him a coward. Telling him to grow up and talk to him. The teen was continuously ignored and waited to feel something. He never felt anything but hate and remorse and the continued emotion of loneliness. He wouldn’t yell that long, his voice normally dying down from exhaustion. He wasn’t surprised when in the following days his throat was actually too sore to even yell through the door.

If it wasn’t for Seren or Merrick in the abyss, Gabriel would swear he would have been insane now and probably begging on his knees for Scott to treat him well like a good ‘puppy’. For now though, he was alone and very dirty. He felt utterly disgusting. He was almost glad he didn’t have a shirt but then again, the temperature in the room would change. In order to keep himself warm, Gabriel would jump or do some exercises. With the food at least, he felt as if he was gaining muscle with all the exercise he was doing. With Merrick teaching him old basic fighting skills, he felt like he could really make a difference if he got out. During down time he would speak to them about other Jarklas and even their times, how their life was. He was shocked to find out that Merrick had actually been a loner and not an alpha at all. He and Seren traveled from pack to pack to regain order and help with the hunter problem. He never asked how their lives ended. Gabriel was afraid to find out, to think that they might have died from the very hunters that hunted them.

The thought of hunters made Gabriel wonder if there were hunters here. He thought about how well off Tasha and her pack was, and just took a guess that Scott’s pack was the same way. Orion claimed he had money but the majority of his pack liked living out in the wild.

Gabriel was sitting on the bed by now, his body drenched in sweat. The buzzing silence was bothering him but he focused on the mumbling sound of the TV. It was on again and he tried to listen to yhe program. It wasn’t until he heard Tank’s voice that Gabriel bounded up to the door and pressed his ear to the wall.

“Alpha, he’s been in there for two weeks. The pack is becoming worried for him.” Two weeks? That’s how long he’d been in there? Even he was surprised at that.

“They shouldn’t have to worry. He is fed and watered. He being comfortable is not important to me.” Gabriel’s eyes narrowed in the darkness. The way Scott’s tone sounded to him, it sounded like he didn’t’ like it either. Had Tank caught the tone?

“But sir.” Guess not. “Just let him out.” Gabriel could have made a few guesses on what happened next. He heard crashing and loud yelps. He strained to hear anything else but it must have been whispered. The only thing he heard next was a door slam. He continued to try to listen but heard nothing other than the TV. Was that the jeopardy tune he heard?

What’d I miss? Perfect timing.

“Tank was just in. Sounds like a scuffle happened. His pack doesn’t like that I’m in here.”

No surprise. Wolves don’t like it when you’re uncomfortable, especially if you think about it.

“Yeah yeah I know. They feel my emotions blah blah. But it bothered Scott. I wonder if he did it to prove a point, or if he did it because he agrees. He doesn’t seem to care but I feel like he does. So explain that.” Seren was quiet in Gabriel’s thoughts. The teen moved away and paced some more, his arms folded across his chest.

Some wolves aren’t affected by you because other feelings block them. Perhaps Scott’s hatred for his brother blocks his emotions to you.

The words made sense. Gabriel stopped to think back about Trent, Orion’s beta and how he acted. He bit his lower lip and turned toward the door. He was so accustomed to the darkness that with the little light that did shine, he was able to see just enough to get by.

“That would explain Trent. He has a strong affection for Orion and when I came into the picture he saw me as nothing but a threat,” he murmured. Seren silently agreed in his head. “I’ve got to break down Scott’s barriers. But I need to get out there.” Again Seren stayed silent. Gabriel looked at the door and walked up to it. He slapped the door with his fist.

“Scott! Scott I know you can hear me! If you let me out I won’t try and run alright! You already won this stupid battle okay! You can’t keep me in here forever!” Not the best choice of words, Gabriel thought. At least he knew it once he got a reply.

“Want to test that theory?” He heard the man’s voice and hit the door again, then he had actually leaned on it. “You’re going to lose your voice again puppy.” he warned him. Gabriel scoffed.

“We’ve been battling since I got here. You were going to kill me if you remember correctly. But instead you lock me in this stupid closet. What are you so afraid of? That I’ll run back into Orion’s arms or something? You want the truth right? Just like everyone else in this world.”

“I’m debating on killing you now. Never thought you’d be so loud. That or I could rape you.” This conversation was getting him nowhere.

“Then rape me! Jesus you talk talk talk and I have yet to see any fucking action!” The door opening wasn’t expected. Gabriel yelped and fell flat on his face, having no time to catch himself. He grumbled and got to his knees, looking at Scott’s feet before him. He peered up at a very angry looking man. “I suddenly regret saying that,” he muttered.

“I would too. But I wouldn’t rape something that hasn’t showered in two weeks. So instead I’ll just have you watch me kill someone.” Wonderful. Gabriel moved to stand and he punched Scott’s chest, only to hiss and shake his hand and then cradle it. Scott glared at the boy. “Not a smart move.”

“Yeah well I haven’t been smart lately,” Gabriel grumbled. Scott stared at him in disbelief. He went from acting like a submissive omega to a brat to a stuck up teen. So many mood swings.

“You are just as bad as I am with all these mood swings,” Scott said. Gabriel pointed a finger from his good hand at the man.

“Hey, I’ve been pretty balanced lately!” he said in his defense. And that’s when he saw it. The smallest smile with a hint of an amused expression. Gabriel went back to cradling his hand and stared at the man. After an uncomfortable silence, Gabriel started talking again. “If you can answer me one question, and give Jake back to his dad, I’ll stay with you.” He wanted to try and break Scott down. He wanted to see if he could break down the walls that were so tightly built around him.

“I could just shove you back in the closet and ignore this request and kill someone and toss their head in your room,” Scott commented without skipping a beat. Gabriel opened his mouth only to close it again. He had him there.

“Just hear me out?” Scott looked like he was pondering Gabriel’s question. The man rubbed his chin and finally placed his hand on Gabriel’s shoulder. Hope was building but it was slammed back in his face when he was shoved in the closet and the door shut.

“Not a chance. I’ll be back with your gift!” Scott called from outside. Gabriel screamed and slammed his fists on the door only to hiss again and whimper.

“God damn you!” he screamed out.

Well that went well.

Gabriel growled. “Oh shut up Seren. You were no help at all. Now he’s going to kill someone and toss their head in here and I’m going to have to deal with it.” He heard the man sigh.

You have your hands full with this. Relax. We have to practice.

“I don’t want to practice today. I just caused someone’s death. I can’t focus.”

Fine then. Just call my name when you’re ready again. Seren sighed to him. Gabriel’s lips pinched into a thin line as he began to pace again.

Meanwhile, Scott had walked out of the room and went downstairs. He needed to find his omega, the sorry sack of shit that he enjoyed using to get his frustration out. No doubt he was around doing something ridiculously stupid. He walked out of his house after slipping on some sandals and made his way to the other house in which his other gamma lived. Music was blaring from the house as he made his way up to the front door. He didn’t bother knocking as he walked right in. The music was too loud for others to stop their little party. He saw the omega dancing on the coffee table in the living room with a tie on his head and wearing his underwear over his shorts. He knew he was doing something stupid to make the others laugh. It was his purpose was it not? As soon as the omega saw Scott however, every movement stopped. The others saw the sudden stop and turned to where he was staring. Shock waves rolled through the young wolves as someone stopped the music. Scott rolled his eyes and walked over, grabbing the omega’s arm.

“Oh please don’t stop on my account,” he sneered as he dragged the poor fool away. “But do find someone new.” The subtle hint began to raise panic in the poor soul that Scott gripped onto tightly. He dragged him all the way back to his house. Others saw Scott with the omega and began to fear for the worst as he dragged him down to the basement of his home.

“So sorry to cut this short Peter, but the Jarkla wants a gift, and I can’t deny him that can I?” he mused with a smile as he threw the omega down on the ground, watching the man scramble. Peter had brown curly locks that covered his dark brown eyes.

“A g-gift?” Scott began to crack his knuckles at the omega’s squeaked response.

“That’s right. Do you want to know what he asked for?” he purred. Peter swallowed and shook his head no. He had a feeling he wasn’t going to like it. “No? But you should be honored to know what he wanted.” The omega’s eyes began to water and he scrambled to get away from Scott as he walked closer, his whole body changing to his tall lupine form.

“A-alpha please…d-d-don’t.” He began to cry miserably. Scott smiled, his full lupine form standing before the man as he shook on the floor. At once he was on him and the screams echoed throughout the house. All speech stopped and it traveled all the way to Gabriel who stopped in his pacing. Scott took the omega’s life and tore the head from the body. Moments later Scott came from the basement, naked and covered in blood. In his hand was the head of the omega, his eyes lazy and his mouth open. The blood dripped and the others looked astonished at the alpha as he ignored their stares and went up the stairs to his bedroom with the head. He went straight to the door and opened it, seeing the boy standing there looking at him. He smirked dangerously and tossed the head at the teen. Instinctively Gabriel caught it, only to scream and drop it down at his feet, backing away and plastering himself to the wall. He looked up at Scott’s naked body covered in the man’s blood.

“Not happy with your gift?” He acted as if he was hurt by Gabriel’s actions. Gabriel didn’t know what overwhelmed him, but he began to cry. Perhaps it was because this man Scott murdered was one of their own. The ones he was supposed to protect. So many had died already, and here was one that didn’t have to die.

“How could you? He was your follower!” the teen exclaimed. Scott snarled and moved in the doorway. Gabriel wished he could have sunk into the wall.

“He was nothing but an omega! Weak and useless!” the alpha screamed.

“You could have just raped me! Why did you take it out on him?” Tears were streaming down his face for the lost soul. Scott moved closer, slamming his hands against the wall beside Gabriel’s head, the boy wincing and shutting his eyes.

“So you would rather I take it out on you? You would take their pain? You would suffer for them without even knowing them?” He was testing the Jarkla, wondering if he said only words. Seren, what should I do? Gabriel thought silently, his eyes shut tight, the smell of the blood settling in his nostrils.

Speak the truth. It’s your only weapon.

But would it work? Gabriel still refused to open his eyes. He could feel Scott’s body heat close to his own. He fought back the tears as he spoke.

“I’d rather you let Jake go. I’d rather you be nicer to your pack. I would take it all for them. Every bit of pain. I would want to tell them it’s ok, that they don’t have to be afraid like I was and am right now. I would want to wish I could take it away because I wouldn’t want them to suffer like I had. To be alone like I was. To have the feeling that someone hated me because of something I couldn’t control. I would want to do anything I could to fix it if it was in my power to do so.” Gabriel dared to open his eyes, to stare at the blood as it seeped down Scott’s body. He expected to get punched, to get thrown. When he felt Scott grab his hair, he expected the worst. He assumed too much.

Scott dragged the boy to the bathroom and turned on the shower, not caring if it was too hot or too cold. He threw Gabriel in it, hearing the boy’s initial shock at the water temperature.

“C-cold!” Gabriel gritted his teeth as the water hit his body. He almost bounced back out until Scott joined him. The blood began to wash away from his body. Gabriel plastered himself against the tiles of the shower, the glass door locking him in with the man. He was still wearing his slacks, so he was thankful for it. Until Scott noticed, too.

“Take those off.” Gabriel was actually surprised that he even said anything. More assuming lead Gabriel to believe he would have ripped them off in a clean sweep. Gabriel struggled in the small space but he did strip them off, Scott taking them and throwing them over the glass door. They landed with a slap on the tile. It dawned on the teen at that single moment that he was standing in the shower, naked, with Scott. Oh fuck me, he thought.

And I call that ironic. Say that out loud and you’re get a ‘oh sure I’ll fuck you’.

He could hear the sarcastic tone that Seren used and wanted to mentally hit him for it. He swallowed hard and was afraid to move. He glanced up between the hanks of wet hair that hung over his eyes at Scott’s face. Scott was staring intensively at him.

“Do you know how easy it could be right now, to slam you against the tiles and fuck you?” he sneered. Gabriel swallowed.

“Yes…” he whispered.

“Do you also know how easy it is to kill you?”

“Yes.”

“Do you know what I want?” His voice was oddly softer than it had been for the first two questions. Of course Gabriel had no idea what the man wanted. He wanted to know. He wanted to know what Scott wanted. What he yearned for.

“No,” he mumbled. “But I’d like to.” He wanted to get it out before Scott spoke again. The man’s mouth was open to speak but it stopped and shut again, his teeth clamping down as it caused his jaw bone to jut out. The water from the shower head spraying on their bodies and dripping down the drain the only sound as it echoed in the bathroom.

“Would you?” It was an honest question Scott asked. He wondered if the teen only said that to get to him. Gabriel still felt the tears on his face and hated as the water blinded his vision. He brought his hands up to wipe his face and moved his hair out of his eyes, trying to get out of the water as it pounded on his head.

“Would you believe me if I said yes?” Gabriel asked back. Scott growled dangerously and Gabriel moved back, biting his lip as the cold tile touched his back.

“No,” he snarled at him. “I wouldn’t even believe you if you said no. You say you want to know what I want? Well you have to earn that. You want Jake to go back to his father? You have to earn that too. How you earn it, is how well you behave.” Gabriel couldn’t help but move his head up to glare at him.

“I’m tired of hearing that! You already know I’d do anything for them! I’ll behave alright! I’ll do anything you fucking want! But how do I know you will keep your word huh? Or are you just some sleazy bastard that’s going to act like he’s going to keep up his end of—“ Gabriel had only been choked once in his life. Now he was being choked again. Scott was holding his throat and squeezing and Gabriel’s hands instantly went to his wrist. He shut his eyes and whimpered softly. Scott waited a few more moments before letting go.

“Let’s get this straight right now pup, I don’t want any of this snarky attitude. The only end of any bargain I will hold is not fucking the shit out of you. But if you keep up this cocky little attitude I won’t have an issue with bending your little ass over my bed and screwing you raw. Get the picture?” Gabriel coughed some, rubbing his throat as he tried to catch his breath.

“Alright alright I get it. Do I have to call you Master though? Seriously that’s a bit old,” he couldn’t help but mutter. Scott felt like saying yes, but he actually enjoyed Gabriel saying his name. It had a better ring than Master after the several times the teen had said it during his screaming sessions.

“You can call me by my name, he murmured. Gabriel felt like he was getting somewhere when Scott’s eyes traveled elsewhere.

“No more killing?” He dared to push. Scott’s eyes quickly went back to him.

“Don’t piss me off and I won’t kill anyone.” That shouldn’t be hard.

“So, as long as I don’t piss you off you won’t kill anyone?”

“Pretty much. You’ve already failed once.” Gabriel remembered the head that was tossed at him just minutes ago, shivering at the reminder. “And every time you do, I’ll continue to kill my omegas.” Not a reassuring statement. Gabriel frowned.

“I get it. But can I at least get outside this damned room?”

“Earn it.” Gabriel frowned as his shoulders slumped. He had to earn everything.

“Was I really in there for two weeks?” Scott moved his hand, Gabriel flinching but relaxing again as he only messed with the shower as he warmed up the water.

“Yes.” His tone was bored now, and Gabriel noted that. He wondered how many questions he could get away with.

“Did you throw Tank out of the room?” Scott didn’t bother looking at him when he grabbed the loofah and poured some body wash on it.

“Yes.”

“Do you think Megan Fox is attractive?” Random question, but it did the trick. Scott stopped in mid lather and stared hard at him with curiosity.

“Shut up. You ask too many questions.” Gabriel gave an odd and beaming smile.

“Orion limited me to five questions a day. I wouldn’t stop asking him either.” Scott rolled his eyes, but the comment he said next made the teen smile even wider.

“Smart move on his part.” Gabriel rested against the wall, his eyes staring glued to Scott’s chest as he thought to himself. Scott must care for Orion, or maybe they were more alike than they let themselves believe. He was brought back out of his thoughts when he felt something prickly against his chest. “Wash yourself.” Gabriel took the sponge, seeing it was already lathered with more body wash. It smelled almost minty.

“Minty,” he commented. Scott ignored him and moved the teen with a single hand, taking the main jet stream as Gabriel began to wash himself.

“Wash thoroughly pup,” Scott said as he began to wash his own hair. Gabriel made a face from behind as he made sure to scrub every part of him including his feet, almost slipping a few times afterward. Scott had finished and was letting the conditioner sit in his hair as he watched Gabriel. The teen realized he was being watched and instantly blushed.

“What?” he squeaked. Scott reached up and took off the shower head as he sprayed the teen who yelped at the jet stream. “Hey!” Scott was actually smiling as he sprayed him clean of the soap before changing the head again and placing it back on the socket. He gazed back at Gabriel who was glaring at him. “That was mean.”

That was stupid to say.

Only when Seren said something did he realize just how stupid he did sound. Calling Scott mean was like undermining him. Scott on the other hand raised a very curious brow.

“Did you forget about your present already?” he asked. Gabriel stood still. Damn him, he thought as he remembered the severed head of the man Scott killed just minutes ago. He closed his eyes and shivered at the image as it popped in his head. Scott smiled at his reaction. “Guess not.” He grabbed the shampoo and shoved it in Gabriel’s chest, forcing the teen to react and take the bottle. Gabriel was still frowning as he began to wash his hair. Scott’s eyes closed and he rinsed his hair. Gabriel took that moment to really look at him. He even dared to gaze down. What surprised him was not Scott’s body, but the fact that Scott was completely flaccid. Ok, so killing obviously wasn’t a turn on. But Gabriel was standing there in the same shower and still nothing. Gabriel gazed down at his own to see it twitch. Fucking teenage hormones. He bit his lip and went back to focusing on his hair, and that head on the floor. That would make it go away. He didn’t realize as he began to scrub his hair that Scott was resting behind the stream of the water and staring at him. He lost himself again in his thoughts.

It wasn’t fair. It wasn’t fair that Orion got all the attention and he was left with nothing. He was the heir of the pack yet he was constantly overlooked because of his figure. Angered half the time, Scott would spend most of his time alone and away from the others, practicing his own fighting skills and hunting on his own. Others would try and get close but Scott knew they did it out of pity. He hated the others, he hated everyone. They didn’t like him or thought he couldn’t do anything because of how he looked. He would prove them wrong. He’d prove them all wrong.

During the late nights, he would listen to the birds, to the animals around him, gathering all the information he could. He may not have been externally strong but his cunning made up for it. His speed and tactics were always making a difference. In the mornings of the pack gathering, Scott would make an appearance but then leave once more and not show up until the late afternoon. The only one he went to was his mother. The single one that continued to give her son affection, true affection. The love for his mother was like any other child. He was devoted to her.

The day she died, was when he went insane. While the others were crowding around Orion and his father, no one went to Scott. Perhaps it was because of how he treated them earlier. But he didn’t care. He saw nothing but fakers. Nothing to him.

“Scott. Scott. Hello?” The man jumped back into reality when he saw a hand waving in front of his face. He shook his head to see that the water was off and Gabriel was in a towel, holding another one in his arm. “You were like lost to the world,” the teen muttered as he held the towel up to him. Scott eyed the boy but took it, walking out onto the tiles as he began to dry off. “What were you thinking of?” Gabriel tried asking.

“Shut up,” Scott said. Gabriel sighed. He was hoping for too much to think that Scott would tell him anything. Gabriel dried off and then walked out of the bathroom but then stopped. The door to the closet was still wide open, and with the lighting he could see the mop of hair that belonged to the dead man. Scott moved into the doorway but stopped since the teen was blocking his way. He followed Gabriel’s line of sight knowing what he was probably staring at. He smirked at him and moved closer, grabbing the boy’s shoulder and pulling him to his body. “What’s the matter?” Gabriel wanted to elbow the wolf for even asking that question.

“What do you think?” he murmured. Scott moved his hand to the boy’s jaw, his hand now holding it.

“I’m a killer puppy. I enjoy it,” he whispered in his ear. Gabriel smiled however.

“You don’t take pleasure in it.” Scott looked at the wet hair that covered the teen’s head. Did he really just question him on if he took pleasure in killing?

“What makes you think I don’t?” Scott said in his ear. Gabriel turned, forcing Scott to release his jaw so that the teen could look at the man.

“Cause if you did, your dick would have been hard in that shower.” Scott gave a laugh. He couldn’t help himself. Gabriel was flustered over what he said, to be honest, but hell give him some points! He did say that with a straight face.

“You actually took a look. How brave,” the man scoffed. He moved passed the teen and opened the main bedroom door. “Stay.” He said without looking back as he walked downstairs.

“Yeah yeah. Stay like a good puppy,” Gabriel ended up muttering to himself. He went to the man’s dresser and began to dig through it. He found it almost strange. Scott had inches on him for sure, but when it came to body mass, he now swore that they were exactly the same. It made the teen think that if Scott wasn’t a werewolf at all, they could be equally matched. He dug through some of the drawers until he pulled out some shorts that he figured would fit him. After grabbing those, he also grabbed some slacks for Scott. He figured if he needed the guy to open up, he had to start small. He stripped the towel off and pulled on the shorts. Going back into the bathroom he hung up his towel and grabbed his pants. He crinkled his nose at the smell and twisted them to grt rid of excess water. Afterward he looked around for a hamper, seeing one in the corner he tossed the pants in and went back out to the bedroom. He heard Scott’s voice when he went through the doorway.

“Clean it up and dispose of the body. Bring up dinner for both of us.” He was still in his towel, and Gabriel saw Heather and two more females. Heather stole a glance in Gabriel’s direction and he quickly flashed a smile. Scott didn’t see it. The three began to clean up the mess and Gabriel had to turn away in order to hold himself, or at least, his food in. Scott walked over and grabbed the pants that Gabriel laid out, glancing at the teen that had his back turned to him. The gesture alone made Scott think of his mother, how she would constantly do that for him. He pulled off the towel and pulled on the pants with ease. Gabriel still had his backed turned to him.

“Tell me pup, you were hardly embarrassed in the shower. I didn’t expect that.” Gabriel smiled without him seeing it. So he was curious? Perfect. Gabriel turned back, making sure to keep eye contact with Scott and not with what the girls were doing.

“I was in track for about a year or so in high school. So public showing wasn’t a big deal,” Gabriel stated with confidence. Scott was rather surprised with how easily he answered the question. The man sat on the bed and waved the boy closer.

“Come.” Gabriel had to admit. He hated being beckoned like a dog, but he went to him. Scott grabbed him and brought him onto his lap, the teen straddling him. Gabriel had more of a chance to see just how much of a difference their size was.

“You know, I was thinking.” Gabriel decided to try. He wanted to see just how much of those barriers he could get down. Scott leaned back, resting his hands on Gabriel’s thighs as he looked at him lazily.

“I doubt I want to hear it but telling you to ‘Shut up’ doesn’t work now doesn’t it?” Scott muttered. Gabriel grunted.

“Well jeez; I’m just trying to strike up conversation here. You’re being a Mr. Grumpy and not wanting to share stories.” The way Scott looked at him made Gabriel swallow uncomfortably.

“I don’t share.”

“Yeah, I’m learning that. Can I go back to what I was about to say? Or are you going to say shut up again?” Gabriel mused.

“Shut up puppy. I’m done talking.” Gabriel groaned and tried to get up but the grip on his thighs tightened. “You either lay down on me, or you can stay just like that.” Awesome.

Still making leeway I think little angel.

Yeah me too, Gabriel thought. The teen wasn’t going to fight him. But he didn’t want to stop the conversation. He needed to push this, and test the man more.

“Well I’m not done. I was thinking that if you weren’t a werewolf, we’d probably be equal in strength. At least now. I was pretty weak when Orion first caught me. Hell I was a scared little twat.” Scott moved his head to look at him again. He looked annoyed, but also keenly interested.

“Twat?” He asked.

“Yeah don’t ask me where I got that word from. I’m sure I heard it from somewhere. But don’t you think?” He was looking for a response. Anything from the man that would tell him that he’s at least like the others. When he received nothing, Gabriel slumped down more. “This conversation is becoming way too one sided you know.”

“Good for you. I told you to shut up. Do you want me to gag you?”

“I believe that you would do that too.”

“Good.”

“But I’d rather continue. Besides I haven’t had enough conversations. You know sitting in a room by yourself can get bothersome. You could start talking.” Gabriel gave a quiet yip when Scott quickly sat up, wrapping his arm around his waist.

“Jesus you just don’t shut up. I lock you in a room, you scream, I threaten you, you still talk back, and now I let you shower with me—“

“You didn’t let, that was a force.” At that, Scott lifted his other hand and flicked his nose. Gabriel couldn’t believe it. The man flicked his nose, like he really was a puppy.

“No interrupting.”

“Sorry, please continue,” Gabriel said. He was smiling; surprised by himself that he was smiling at this man. He didn’t understand himself sometimes. How could he be smiling at a man that just up and leaves to murder someone?

“As I was saying, I let you shower with me and here you are, talking your little mouth off. How do I shut you up? Hmm? Care to answer that?” Gabriel moved his arms and folded them around his chest.

“You can’t. Must be a malfunction,” Gabriel noted. Scott sighed and closed his eyes for a moment before looking back up him.

“I liked you better when you were scared of me,” he mused. Gabriel frowned.

“Why?” the teen asked. Scott moved his hand again and began to play with Gabriel’s hair.

“Easier to manage,” he sighed. “Easier to fuck.” He stopped playing with Gabriel’s hair and went back to laying down, his eyes closed. Gabriel knew he hit something, and so did Seren.

You’re doing it! That was a crack! Try it! Look at him and try to read his thoughts!

Gabriel didn’t need to be yelled at anymore. He stared at the man and even dared to lean in, staring into Scott’s face as his eyes closed. He rested his bare chest on Scott’s and felt his tongue dart out and lick his lips. He bit his lip softly and hoped it worked. He needed something, anything that would give him the answer to this man before him. He was never expecting what he saw next.

I name my heir Orion!”

No!” Scott was furious, his voice rang out in the pack as the cheers died and they turned to look at the fragile looking wolf. Orion stood there, looking as powerful as ever with the man that had to be his father. The man had sharp features like Scott but his build has passed to his second son. Scott stood there, his hands clenched, blood dripping from his palms. “I am the first born! Being heir is my right!” he exclaimed.

Brother, you are hardly cap—“ Scott’s bloodied finger lifted and pointed at his brother.

Do not speak to me Orion! I am capable of anything you are! Never judge me by my size! I will show you all! Every last one of you will bow before me!”

Thats right....Gabe's becoming more kick ass. MHAHAHAHAH. Thanks again to Sat for helping with my horrible grammar >.>
