Philippe’s Poetry - Words of Rhythm and Rhymes Summary Poem - 8. Good Guys Don’t Date Bad Boys - Chapter - 20, Comment Poem

Ahhh, The Amazing Four,

Rumored…, to be no more.

Maddog’s friend, too randy,

Wrong boyfriend…., not candy.

Rusty, relax my friend,

Hmmm, which way does he bend?

New dawn of Sunshine Ray,

Secrets with friends…, OK.

Inside scoop bestie knows,

Support for Maddox…, shows.

Repair Amazing Four,

Start…, behind bestie’s door.

Tragic past, childhood days,

Bestie, brother,…, always.

Dex, Kane, and Rusty too,

Sunshine touched?…, forged anew.

Off to apologize,

Brash Rusty…, supervised?

Sunshine Ray…, Rusty way,

Brash, unfiltered…, smooth day?

Rusty, Ray…, truths revealed,

Jonathan’s love congeals?

Holidays, family cheer,

Road trip guys…, grab your gear!

Bringing a friend your way,

Hey Mom, Hey Dad…, I’m Gay!

Jonathan, my love, see,

Forever…, he will be!

If I could add two reactions instead of one, I totally would. Due to the impossibility to do that, you only get one heart, he-he-he... The lol comes in the comment.

I always enjoy your poems, Philippe! And the insight, besides the humor, is through the roof. Like, for instance...

"Rusty, relax my friend,

Hmmm, which way does he bend?"

Now that's a question for the ages :))

Seriously, I don't know if there's anyone else reading with so much attention as you. So, thanks again for your poems!

Hahaha 🤣, it was a Rusty inspired moment; trying to remember that these boys are roommates in the college setting. Roommates, friends, family; with all the quirks that families bring. I could not personally accept the stranger mentality of some student roommates; be a part or be gone, as youth requires mutual support and socialization…therefore, the Rusty factor. It may not ever have a schedule but it was definitely an event! 😂 I’m still friends and contact the ole roommates from time to time. Good times when enjoyed with hindsight.
