A terrible, nonsensical poetry and others - 14. Chapter 14 Love Anger Fool

Part I

Shared looks,

Discrete meetings,

An echo of the past

A ripple of nostalgia

A hint of interest

A touch of selfish pleading

What is with us human?

To desire what is no longer ours,

To beg just so we could belong,

To come despite unwanted,

To say, "If I can`t have it then no one else can!"

As if they are unaware of human emotions,

That even made the strong Achilles weep,

That made human change their fate.

Why oh why I ask myself,

As I watched a past lover desire the other,

As I watched endless chaos happened,

Again and again

I asked myself as I watched the past and present collide,

What is with that?

That tedious thing some of us do,

To crawl back to what hurt us?

As I watched, I asked myself...

Am I a fool for staying?

My repentance,

Is witnessing this stupid charade endlessly

Indeed I am

Indeed I am

Part II

Have you ever looked at someone desiring back what they have lost?
Especially after paying the consequences of an action.
Looking at it taught you better, to not do senseless harm
It taught you that people even weak, become dangerous when pushed.

Ever look at them blankly with darken eyes bleak of any emotions?
Just no reaction but thinking how pathetic it is after they have hurt you so much?
You just watch, observing watchful eyes
Just an understanding that they would not change,
That they have lost, left behind because they have been blinded
Because the pain and experience they caused,
Had wring blood from your vein and watered your parched throat
With that growth, comes new perspective.

In came a lesson,
These people do not beg out of pure emotion,
Not out of sincerity, not out of naivety and innocence nor the fresh pink rose petaled of love.
To all of us who had their ex come back either to our lover or back at us
Do you want to know something?
One very painful truth?
That we all have a choice,
To take no shit and do no harm to others,
Have you realized it yet?

Sometimes in choices of others we ceased to exist and never prioritized

Its a rambling and barely plucked amongst the shards of stories in my mind.

There is a concept,

and like everything else,

I just toss a dice

I was about to click published but then realized on the date this is posted, it should be my birthday. Happy Birthday to me. We will do better with every birthday. Its the only way to celebrate the inevitable passage of time
