A terrible, nonsensical poetry and others - 15. Chapter 15 Question

A simple gesture was all it took,

It was all it took to be reminded of the bad days,

Like candle flame the joy diminish,

Laughter ceased and,

Exhaustion was evident,

It was the last straw.

Duty is indeed duty,

The temptation to fight and conquer,

Something that is only evident in survivors,

To win and take what is rightfully yours,

Frozen,

Suddenly everything ceased

The loudness stopped,

The pain stopped,

Dawned in realization like the coming of dawn,

'Shouldn`t there be a limit to this?'

I asked myself,

How many times and how long,

Do you intended to engrave others in your soul and writing,

Instead of yourself?

Another powerful poem. You bear your soul to us in these, and I'm grateful for the universal insight
