A too short story of two young boys and two different fathers in a hard, poor area of swamp filled Louisiana. One father drinks coffee and the other drinks lots of alcohol. The boys are friends. Johnny loved by his dad, Walt, is going on a fishing trip with his dad and invited Emmett to  go along

Read on to find out about the different home life of the two boys and when challenged see if Johnny's father, Walt,  takes Emmett along knowing the baggage he brings. Walt worries about the future for them but makes today satisfying.
