Home is at the end of the road. For Scott Walker its been a long eight years living abroad. But now all he wants to do is go home. Yet coming home isn't easy as he realizes that while home hasn't changed, he has and trying to adjust to his old life isn't easy. He is caught up trying to prove that he isn't the stranger everyone mistakes him for. And love threatens to drag him into a bitter family rivalry.

Just finished reading this story for the second time, it's great and I really like Scott and the unintentional drama he causes. Good work on the various characters around him as well. The only disappointment was the lack of intimate details, not that there has to be sex in a story but it just seemed strange that the emotional fumbling was not enhanced by the physical akwardness which surely would occur, mainly because Luke was totally repressed and thus innocent.

In fact seeing as Scott was the first person Luke kissed, I would not expect much to happen on the first night (not to mention the lack of lube and condoms), and not even the second time either. But somehow the lack of info gave the impression that they went all the way - at least the night Nigel caught them. But maybe my imagination is too vivid. In any case, I think the story would have benefitted from showing those vulnerable moments in such a new and rocky relationship.

And I wouldn't mind a sequel, either.
