CSIS, mysterious in the fact that it is an agency that protects secrets, has recruited a new star. But when Officer Highmore discovers Will Carter’s name on a hit list carried by a spy, he must work out a way to protect the man he loves. The problem is, he isn’t allowed to tell him. While Will endeavours to play a political gambit in an attempt to stay out of a corrupt war for oil, Andrew steps up to the plate and does the one thing he knows how to do well. Protect Will.

You cannot read this without reading the whole Carter Saga. From start to finish it is compelling with great characters and brilliant interwoven story lines. The story of a boy as he grows into the man he becomes feels so real as fictional as it is is one of the best reads that you can ask for. It's not just the story of William Carter it is also the story of the people that he comes into contact with. I strongly recommend this as a must read for those who want strong characters, believable story lines, action and romance all finely balanced. I take my hat off to @Topher Lydon for writing a series of excellent stories that blend so well.

Several pages in, it was obvious 7. Carter's Recourse was turning out to be the most intense of the series with all the twists and turns, unrelenting suspense, trials and tribulations of new and returning characters, cliff hangers, and so much more. Then, we get to the very end taking us...

Sorry folks, you'll have to read on to discover and experience all the many adventures of Carter and company.

This is a rollercoaster ride of a story.

We have CSIS a mysterious agency with a rising star, Andrew Highmore who's mission is to protect Andrew Carter.

There are some familiar faces, featuring in this story.

There are so many twists and turns in this story as we are joined by agencies from America and Britain, but are they helping or being a hindrance.

Only by reading this masterpiece will you discover more.
