This story showcases the struggle of self-acceptance. Well worth the read.

This isn't your typical coming-out story—it's a raw, unflinching punch to the gut wrapped in magical realism and dark humor. 

The writing crackles with wit and self-awareness, the Sydney setting is vividly atmospheric, and the curse that forces him to speak his truth creates both hilarious and heartbreaking moments. It's messy, uncomfortable, and surprisingly tender—a story about what happens when you can no longer run from who you really are.

Rory gets a text inviting him for a good time, but instead of going there the usual way he tries something different.  In the process, he enters the wrong window and gets more than he bargained for.  This short story was compelling and realistic, and you'll have to read this well crafted tale to find out what happened to Rory.  

What happens when you come face to face with your innermost desire, will or can you deny it???

Fascinating story, with a wicked twist, well written.

For anyone who has fought with his or her inner self about who they really are will find a lot to relate to in this story. Not that I was ever a womanizer like the MC, but the feelings of needing to be “normal” hit too close to home. A must read.

Not a magic fan, but here the magic was a tool to get our (anti-) hero sorted out.  I really enjoyed this clever little read. Kudos to the author.

Rory is at the wrong window and finds himself in the wrong apartment, but, surprisingly, he is exactly where he needs to be. He encounters a magic mirror - not a fortune-telling one, but a mirror that looks into your soul. And what this mirror sees in Rory’s soul and reveals to him is truly life changing.

But is Rory ready to face the truth about himself? And, more importantly, is he ready to accept it?
