Ok, so as most people know, I'm not much of an environmentalist. I believe that global warming is a hoax and that we need to industrialize Africa so that the people of that continent can enjoy the fruits of a thriving economy. I also believe that relaxing environmental standards on industry will benefit the entire world in the long run.
But I'm not completely void of environmental stewardship. I stopped eating red meat, pork and chicken almost a month ago and I'm working on my pesky addiction

(Madison, Wisconsin) Same-sex couples from Wisconsin who go to California to marry could find themselves facing criminal charges when they return home.
A little known Wisconsin law makes it a criminal offense to enter into a marriage outside the state if that marriage were illegal in Wisconsin.

American Family Association calls for boycott of McDonald's
by Roger Sinasohn Jul 6th 2008 9:01AM
I've heard of a lot of reasons why people avoid "Old McDonald's", as the famous fast food chain is known around our house -- the general unhealthiness of the food, the destruction of the rainforests, their marketing through school notices, and so on -- but the American Family Association has come up with a new one.
The AFA is calling for a boycott of the golden arches because the comp
NEW YORK - Rush Limbaugh will make about $38 million a year to continue his radio show over the next eight years. In addition, he says will be getting a nine-figure signing bonus from Premiere Radio Networks.

Premiere wouldn't disclose details of the deal but Limbaugh gave the information to The New York Times for an article to be published Sunday.
Limbaugh's three-hour show, broadcast from his office in Florida, is heard on some 600 radio stations across the country. More
Sorry in advance for anyone creeped out by this entry.
Lately I've been thinking a lot about dying. Not wanting to die, but just dying in general. I guess more to the point, it's been consuming all of my thoughts and even my dreams at night. I just get the feeling that death might be right around the corner for me, and I can't shake it.
Last night I woke up in a cold sweat from a dream that I was being murdered, and a couple of nights before, I actually woke up kneeling at my bedside, and I

Ok, so it's been 4 nearly meat free days for me I can't say that I haven't indulged a little, since I had 3 ounces of shrimp with my dinner last night, but so far I'm doing pretty good My diet has mainly consisted of leafy greens, colorful fruits and berries, whole grain carbs and at least a gallon of water a day. I was craving seafood last night, so I had my stepmom saut
Finally, after two long months of making my initial request, I can finally say that my work is mine again. I'm not going to mention a domain, but what I will do is caution other authors to be careful where they ask to have their work hosted. Not all site owners will be as willing to take your stories down, and the process could take several weeks. It hasn't been fun, and unfortunately, this morning I had to be very assertive about what I wanted. And as everyone here knows, I hate being assertive

Bill and Hillary Clinton, and their supporters, are compiling and maintaining an "enemies list," according to a report by the NY Times' MARK LEIBOVICH:
Doug Band, chief gatekeeper to former President Bill Clinton...keeps close track of the past allies and beneficiaries of the Clintons who supported Mr. Obama's campaign, three Clinton associates and campaign off
There's only one choice for his VP pick. Hopefully, he's smart enough to know what he has to do and who he has to run with.
I can't imagine that Obama could find a better running mate than Senator Jim Webb. There's nothing the republicans can say about Senator Webb's patriotism, his honorable military service or his executive experience. This man is a real American hero, and if there are any doubters out there, check this out.....
Webb received the Navy Cross for actions on July 10,

Disclaimer: I'm writing this blog entry with about an hour's worth of sleep. One of my friends lost his dad last night, and along with the rest of our crew, I've been at his house off and on all night and morning. Please forgive me if I don't make any sense.
So Barrack Obama's the Democratic nominee for the year 2008. Hillary is out(though not technically), and everyone's wondering what's next. More specifically, everyone wants to know if Obama will pick wild Hillary to be his VP. Well gues

From the look of things, Hillary Clinton is at the end of the road, so to speak. We can only hope that in this case, the end of the road also means the end of her political career, as it seems she won't be the president of the United States. She doesn't need New York anymore, and while she may run for re-election, I can't see her being re-elected. Her ugly side was on full display for all to see this year, and boy was it ugly.
My guess is that Obama and McCain are going to have a close elec
So Barack Obama is having more pastor issues, or I guess in this case, it's priest issues. Either way, I don't think that this guy said anything bad at all, and I find his rant on Hillary especially hilarious. I don't think I can ever get enough of him acting out his version of what happened in Iowa when Hillary broke down and cried

Life Cereal that is...
I went for a hellacious jog this morning and just when I got to the point where I was about to turn around and head home, the friggin sky split wide open and it rained like there was an arc with two of every animal being loaded up. So even though I was already tired, I hauled ass back home. I dried off and poured myself a big ass bowl of cinnimon Life cereal and a huge glass of OJ. But I think I ate too much cereal. Oh well, now that I get up early to work out I can't
