365 Birthday Resolutions/Goals For Year 28

56- new movies (12 oscar nominate/winners at least)

12- craft projects; finish an old one or a new one, one novella-one physical-one poetry set

6- new cities/places-3 way new (If I don't remember from early childhood or had a lay over it doesn't count as way new but it counts for new)

5- visit 3 other places (only 1 SLO)

4- 3 guitar songs and the basics

1-be able to have a conversation in a new language

1-better at giving massages

1-better job/position

1- save 4 g

5- seriously reconnect with old friends

1-find a new love (guy, hobby, place, reason to live)

28- hikes

168-gym visits

1-learn to let go of things

2-toss two useless apps

1-figure out that tick

1-get some more confidence

12-things that are out of my comfort zone

12-get out and go

1-keep this updated, at least weekly posts of what is done and some monthly, quartly or so cross off/changes of the list, picures to keep track

12- anual events (Chinese New Year's Parade, mud runners, 1/2 marathones etc., at least 10 must be new)

1-less impulsive

1-don't let thinking bog you down

1- less B.C.

2-deep cleans/purges

28-lazy days (I only get this many ie motivation to get the rest done also a cheat way to have 365 to do on my 28th year while not causing myself to age 3 years due to the stress of getting all these done.)

Other rules:

Categories that are long term self help issues, valid improvement will count as completion if said item is added to next year. Not sure if it will count as a new item or just and extra for next year.

Substitutions are allowed since it is life and shit can hit the fan or find yourself moved to a new country or such.

Bouns points for each lazy day not used but it has to be replaced with something.

wow, that's a lot of stuff to do! :o

personally I think this is way too much and you're setting yourself up to fail :(

It might be helpful to go through carefully and pick, say, 3 (certainly no more than 6) that are really really important to you, put 'em at the top, and set yourself goals / targets for each using "SMART" to help you know when they can be ticked off

If you only had 1 item and it was important to you, and you achieved it, then you'd still be ahead of most people in the resolutions game :P

Nope, I am the list type of peson. I pride myself on setting unresable goals and meeting them, enjoying checking them off as I go. It is playing it "smart" for me.

Besides many of these are easy to do. Only 5-10 long term goals that will take time and a few I just have to be mindful of.
