Forgive Me, Please? :(

I just wanted to say sorry for what I said in my last blog.

Yesterday I posted an entry impersonating America for allowing their citizens to have guns, and comparing them to ISIS. I have realized that this was not a wise thing to do, and it has been made clear to me through your comments. I apologize for upsetting or riling up some of you because of my post, I want to say that I had no intention of making you feel upset about it. If you want me to, I can take down the entry.

I did this as an example of how I like to make a mockery or find the hypocracy and irony in things of everyday life. As much as I wanted to amuse you, I admit I went too far with that in my last post. Next time if I want to mock something in my blog, I will do so on something we can all agree on. Kanye West.

Please accept this apology and the fact that making a mockery of things is just a part of my personality, and that anything hurtful I may say is not meaningful, only for a joke.

On a happier note, Chapter 5 of Someone Like Me is released! So hop onto a pirate unicorn and fly away to my story!

Or you could ditch the unicorn and click on the link to my story here:

Bye for now,

I suspected the post was made out of irony. Quite frankly when I read it, it reminded me somewhat of Jonathan Swift when he wrote a Modest Proposal

Very nice of you to ask for forgiveness, but not necessary in my opinion.

You brought up a legitimate question that a large number of people outside the United States asks about the importance of that Americans place on the right to bear arms. I imagine you live in a country where the vast majority of people have never owned, handled or will own a gun in their lives. As I do.

The comparison of apples to oranges may need to be critiqued, but the question of the American's view point can easily be questioned from an outsiders view. Without it, life would be pretty damn boring ;)

Fun word of the day that works for both sides of this issue:

egocentric
[ee-goh-sen-trik, eg-oh-]
ADJECTIVE
1.
having or regarding the self or the individual as the center of all things: an egocentric philosophy that ignores social causes.
2.
having little or no regard for interests, beliefs, or attitudes other than one's own; self-centered: an egocentric person; egocentric demands upon the time and patience of others.
