Quote

Mollycoddle - (verb) - to treat with an excessive or absurd degree of indulgence and attention; to spoil

spoiled kitty cat

Quote

Mother is always mollycoddling the cat, giving in to his every whim, including cream on demand.

Want to know more?  Apparently it has a history and can be used as noun for a pampered boy.  https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/mollycoddle

Mollycoddle sounds old fashioned and I would use pamper which has somewhat less of a connotation to spoil.

Hmm... I tend to think of mollycoddle and pamper as being quite different levels when relating to spoil. Or maybe it’s just when one is pampered vs. mollycoddled, that behaviour is seen in a more favourable light?
