The Netherlands are famous for the dikes they use to control the flooding of their land.

With global climate change, I think we'll need a lot more dikes around the world, like encircling many islands.  Otherwise, they may go the route of Atlantis as well.  Listen up Manhattan, Long Island, and Staten Island, as well as the state of Hawaii and the other major islands around the world.  Coastlines and major river banks will be susceptible as well, so there's a lot of work to be done.  There will be a lot more jobs created, if you know how to build dikes.

meaning is always about context + intent -_-

“that baker’s got great buns” could be just a compliment about his luscious bread rolls 🥖:gikkle:

My local baker has luscious bread rolls, but his buns are not great.  They are a bit oversized for my taste.
