Lurid, an excellent choice of words to describe certain parts of the stories posted on Gay Authors - you know, those lurid sex scenes.

some birds (that can fly) have lurid plumage to attract attention 

while others (that can’t) attract attention in other ways :lol: :gikkle:

I usually keep my fiction kinda clean, but when my characters decide to get busy, they can be as lurid, or silly as any bunch you'll find on Nifty. Anybody else's characters have minds of their own?
