Achondrites are rare, and the ones that might be found on earth will have originated on either mars or the moon and been blasted free by a collision with an asteroid.   The more common type of meteorites are chondrites.

I think this presents you with an opportunity. Maybe design a system to mark your target with a laser like they use with some smart bombs. Then just figure out how to get the meteor to go to the marked object. ;)
