Mastiffs are among the largest dogs and are generally powerful and loyal canine companions.  They are often referred to as gentle giants.  They generally have a short coat, large feet, large skull, long low-set tail, and droopy ears.  There are many breeds of mastiffs.

Because my mind tends to wander(yes, its true). I pictured myself leaving the pet store, laughing demoniacally after the sales kid asked if might be interested in buying doggie poop bags in bulk, to save money?
