Condolences to you, Sharon Ann...

--Rigel, remembering his own departed mother as he reads this, and wondering what the modern equivalent of the distributor cap would be, to keep someone he knows oughtn't to drive from driving.

My mother gave me "mad money," too, but it wasn't until tonight that I had an explanation of the term...

I'm so sorry about your mom. I remember when she was first going through chemo.

My condolences to you and your daughters.

Take Care,

Vic

When my mother died, it seemed to me like it was more --frightening, I think -- than my own death. It was just impossible to wrap my mind around it: how could I even exist without her? --I don't mean in terms of actual dependence, she was ill and more dependent on me than I was on her , but something else, something cognitive or logical or something. Like it was a paradox that she could stop being and I could go on.

But that was thirteen years ago, and I'm still here. I don't know what that means.

Anyway, all my sympathies.

Sincere condolences. I fear I'm getting close to join the club, and this is a prospect I fear very much. I hope you and your family get some positive things out from this moment.

Condolences to you, Sharon Ann...(I like the sound of these 2 words, and i can imagine why your mother used it)

I wish I had something comforting or more profound to say, but I don't. The only thing I can say, is that it's just like Old Bob said, as time goes on it becomes harder and harder to remember the bad because you realize how great the good was.

I wish I could do more to help.

All my love in thoughts and in prayers,

Luigi.

I'm so very sorry, Sharon :(

I couldn't even begin to imagine what I'd do without my mom (even if she does live hundreds of miles away).

I'm sure this isn't the best time to mention this but I never realized your middle name was Ann. This is indeed a huge coincidence, my mother's name is Sharon, middle name Ann as well! Does sound nice together :)

My deepest condolences,

Take care

Whatever be the age, a mother remains a mother, isn't she?
