My day of hell

Well today was my first day back to school and all I can say is holy crap man.

The first thing I found out is that I'm not as good at math as I thought I was. I mean, we did some review problems on the board and we were just randomly calling out the variables to some really easy expressions as the teacher wrote them out, and after about the sixth one, I stopped calling out my answers because they were all wrong  Maybe I just need to get back into the motions of school, but I felt so out of it today. I've got a really bad feeling about this year and my grades (not to mention SOL's)

Don't worry bud, as you said, it was only your first day back and a day of review. It will come back to you soon enough. After all, you had all summer to forget things.

If it doesn't and my dad finds out I'm sure I can kiss my car and my job goodbye :(

Don't worry, Nick! I bet you really will shake off any dust and get rolling in no time!

What are SOL's? The only thing I could think of (S*%$ Out of Luck) didn't seem to fit lol

Take care and good luck :)

SOL's are the lovely tests we get to take here in VA and have to pass or we cant move on. SOL stands for Standard of Learning. I already know that if I have any trouble this year my dad's gonna freak out, since that's what he pretty much does all the time.
