Ikaria Here I Come

whoo hoo!!!

I just got off the phone with my grandpa and he told me that he wanted to do something special for me this summer since it's going to be my last summer vacation in high school. I halfway jokingly mentioned that I wanted to go to Greece and visit the island of Ikaria (that's where our family's from) and he was all, "Okay!" So I talked to my dad and he said it was okay, so it looks like I'll be Greece bound this summer. :icon1:

The only thing that I need to worry about now is a long flight over the Atlantic and updating my wardrobe. So anyway, yeah, I'm ultra excited right now.

GREAT!!!!

Don't forget to order your passport as far in advance as you can (they are slow these days) if you don't have one yet.

I was in the Greek Islands a few weeks ago, and you will love it! Have a GREAT time Nick!!

We're going to Walgreen's for passport pictures as soon as we get all the details hammered out. I think my dad and stepmom are coming along too, since they were planning a European tour after I graduate for themselves. I'm not too sure what their plans our, but I really want to see Greece, so I'm really excited. The only thing that would make this perfect would be if Taylor comes along, but I just don't see that happening. The only other thing that would be nice is if there was a way to get there really fast that didn't involve being in a plane over the Atlantic for several hours :ph34r::ph34r:

Bring me back some baklava. No wait, some loukoumia. How about some Loukomades?

Argh... just have fun and eat yourself into a warm, sunny Mediterranean stupor. The great part is that most Greek food really is good for you.
