Good thing you didn't get killed by a stampede -- some worker in a New York walmart died that sort of death. :( And story hopping is a good thing... I did that for a year with my fanfiction. Probably indicative of commitment issues.

Seriously, walmart, on black friday? The last time I was at Walmart, I got stuck in a side aisle because the traffic on the main aisle I was turning into was going to fast. No one would let me turn in :( .

"I can buy the same damn thing on the walmart shelf halfprice" sorry just had to. Walmart? Oh god i hate that place the people are all loud and in a rush and screaming all the time. The crying children. Oh god i'd rather go to the mall and listen to all the people there then the people at walmart. I prolly just hate walmart so much because i used to shop there all the time and my ex would always yell at me for shopping there but i'd always see him there with his mom. HA HA!

Cat Litterbox's oh god yes you have to clean them everyday otherwise they reak really really really bad. I find the unscented cat litter works better for me i dont know why but the scented ones make me wanna gag. if i get a cat i wanna get a Siamese i hear they do not like children at all therefore my friends with kids wont come visit me :) Though right now i wanna get a medium sized dog. Maybe a Brindle Boxer? lol my 1 friend has a german shephard named Cocoa and somedays i almost call her Cheyanne you know your a Domaholic when?

Story hopping i've been doing this 2 it depends what kind of mood i am in if i wanna write my vampires or if i wanna write the romance comedy. I find i write best in the middle of the night.

You know Dom, we just got you back. We can't risk losing you to a Walmart stampede. In the interests of your fans, you should only shop online. :D

That reminds me, I need to stop at a Walmart and get a box of cereal.

Good choice in reading selection, Duncan's good. You know he's got a second one in the works...

I agree with you on Duncan Ryder, Dom. His stories are great.

I disagree with nearly everyone else who's responded here about WalMart. If money's no object, by all means shop at the mall. But you can indeed buy the exact same thing at WalMart for less. It seems many people in my community who have a negative impression of WalMart have never actually been inside one of the stores. I consider that strange.

Edited to remove comment about being unable to edit an entry. Thanks, Sharon.

The correct spelling above is "buy" rather than "by". It seems you can't actually edit a comment in the blogs.

Yes you can. After you click the 'edit' option, you have to scroll all the way down and all the way to the right. The edit options should show in the lower right corner of your screen. I have no idea why, but that's what you have to do.

I'd love to shop at walmart. However the few in my town are just so darn crowded and the people with their carts are just so darn agressive.

<edit>

Used the edit feature as Sharon described perfectly! Thanks! who knew you had to scroll so far right and down.

I don't like walmart cause of how they treat there employee's here and other sea's, and it's not good.

plus many of the stuff there isn't as good as what I find at other places. Plus I'd rather take my business to other places :)

Also they ban certain books & cd's and dvd's cause of there a family place ( and things they ban isn't even outrageous or bad)

In Scottsdale it's a sin to even be within 100 feet of a Wal Mart. Everyone here acts like they own half the U.S. Your milk has to be f**kin' Gucci, and knowing the Menu at P.F. Chang's by heart is mandatory.

Surprisingly enough, Scottsdale Fashion Square was bursting with people on Friday. It was crazy.

Maddy (:

Edit: Don't work at Macy's during Black Friday or the day after Christmas. It's seriously the stressful part of the year.

Hm P.f's is good but I don't know the whole menu :P

No need to memorize it.

I believe 'knowing it by heart' implies familiarity, not memorization :P .

the walmart thing. if you shop at walmart don't forget where your money is going, and where it is not going, local, or at least, smaller, buisnesses and other employees and suppliers may go bust. but thats just me, I won't shop at Asda, the UK Walmart.

thanks for the next chapter dom, I broke my self-discipline to read it and comment :)

I used to buy whole chickens for .50 cents at midnight and a salad for $1 back when i lived in the city at the 1 grocery store it was great! I'd just get out of my theatre classes at midnight hop on over there wearing soooo much makeup worse then a drag queen and buy dinner that would last me for breakfast lunch and supper the next day lol. I lived off that for oh 6 months it was crazy! But i was super skinny :)

My mother loves walmart if you go there with her you spend ALL day there pretty much. Me i walk in check out the clothes im done lol in less then 10 minutes.. THOUGH the last time i went there i bought some REALLY nice plates and cups and more plates and bowls for $50 and in town the plate set alone was $70 lol. I plan to use these plates when i get a boyfriend and if he doesn't like my cooking lol.

My sister works at the coffee place in town and i try NOT to go there when she is working because then she asks for money for her break lol. ha ha what am i kidding my sister is always asking for money lol.

Do you know why Walmart's prices are so much less than anyone else's. They buy in bulk from sweatshops overseas, mostly from China, Bangladesh and any other Third World country that is willing to use prison or child labor, pollute their environment and add melamine to baby formula. Well, maybe I'm exaggerating slightly, but not by much. I actually do favor free trade, but only if there is a level playing field and this is anything but. Helping to lift the 3rd World out of poverty is wonderful, but not if it means clear-cutting their forests, fouling their land, seas and skies or robbing their children of their childhood. Looking for the "union label" is nearly impossible these days, but shopping at Walmart is like driving a hummer with a "support our troops" yellow ribbon sticker on the back, but at the other end of the economic spectrum. Both acts show America's brazen indifference to the plight of the rest of the world.

Sorry to ramble. My suggestion - shop at Target - it's not as cheap, but the service is a lot better. Yeah, I know that most of the products are still made in the 3rd world, but Target is not as brazen about going after the bottom line at the expense of the people who make the products.

I swore off Walmart a few months ago when many of their stores began trying to indoctrinate their employees into voting for Republicans. They claimed it was an isolated, store-by-store thing, but I don't buy that BS, and now I don't shop at Walmart.

Besides, Target is nicer and the aisles are wider.

Walmart, Target, whatever. Just wanted to say I share your love for Duncan Ryder's stories. Are you going to start reading Light, or are you waiting for it to be complete first? I couldn't resist starting and now I'm reduced to whining for updates.
