Did anybody watch the first episode of Skins: series 2 yesterday?

 

It was great!

 

 

 

 

It looks like Maxxie is a more important character in this series, so thats good (and I'm not only saying that cos he's hot, but it is a bonus ;) )

Also, Bill Bailey was great at playing Maxxie's dad :D Its looking like its going to be a good series, and I wish monday would come around again... need to watch skins... :D

I saw it!!! And I agree it was great :P

 

I'm so glad that Maxxie is more important this time round, though he was in it more towards the end of the last series then at the start. I was surprised to see Bill Bailey, but agree he did a good job. I can't wait for monday either, but at least Torchwood is on tonight :D

I wish the US would have British series on TV. The ones I have seen, I like. They seem to be more open to my particular sense of humour. I would love to watch the show and find out what it's all about. I'm sure I'd like it. :wub:

The bit where Sketch is in maxxie's bed was... creepy (although its hard to say what was more creepy, Sketch in maxxie's bed or Sketch under maxxie's bed... :unsure:

 

 

They did still make it funny though :) , especially Sketch outside Anwar's window :P "I've come around to have sex, and I can hardly bloody well do it stood out here now, can I?"

They do seem to have removed some of the really really bad jokes from the first series, and replaced it with really dark stuff. Which is good.

 

And loads of Maxxie (drool) (I'll try and find a pic so that our american friends can appreciate - they have this huge poster of him topless and wet, dancing at my tube stop - its very distracting at 8am!)

 

And Bill Bailey, finally a non ridiculous parent!

 

I was still glad they never resist the most explicit thing one could add in any situation. Oh, lets put the crazy stalker girl in Maxxie's bed, they lets make her masturbate.

 

I really don't know why I like it, but the worse it is the better it gets! Car-crash TV you gotta love it.

I seen Skins on other places as well. (Seeing anyone in the world can find the show on places on the net :D )

 

I could probably buy it from the Uk Amazon store, and play on a region free dvd player.
