BoyNeedsTherapy Posted May 26, 2005 Posted May 26, 2005 Well, we went out tonight, but as you might be able to tell by the fact that my posts are somewhat coherent, I'm not drunk. I was a little tipsy earlier but have sobered up a lot. Anyway, I went out with my better half and my flatmate and her bf (or well, they might just be fu*k buddies atm, their status changes frequently). So me and my bf were just pleasently drunk but they were hammered, it was pretty hilarious until when we finally left she could hardly walk, and me and my bf pretty much had to carry her home. But the weirdest thing was when we had to keep hold of her in the club to stop her going after some girl who flipped us off. She's normally, even when drunk, a pretty peaceful person, it was scary, lol. Oh, actually, scarier still was when she told us not to go into the living room in the middle of the night cos she wants her and him to have sex on the coffee table, lol. The poor girl has to be at work in 6 hours time as well, now that should be amusing Ben
Conner Posted May 26, 2005 Posted May 26, 2005 When I was your age, Ben, this kind of behaviour was called 'sowing your oats'. The theme of this activity was 'wine, women & song'. For those who could afford it and had the time, the oats were sowed in Europe, Mexico...anyway, out of the country. The modern day theme would be 'sex, drugs & rock 'n roll'. The phrase has come into disuse. It was normally made in reference to young men only, but I see no reason why a young woman can't sow her oats as well - a la your flatmate. Mind you, in my day, any woman found sowing her oats was quickly labelled a slut. Young men sowing their oats were studs. Ah, the good old days! The sins of youth! I still remember....most of it anyway. Hugs, Conner

Ah, the good old days! See, people frequently say that gay men have lots of sex, which I do but only with one person, and I've only ever been with two people in my life, that's a lot less than any of my female flatmates, lol. I don't know if I'm just an anomaly though... Ben
