KJames Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 (edited) Yummm... can I get some of that please? If you ever get to Southern California, try a restaurant & pub in Fullerton called The Olde Ship. It's most definitely British in flavour and appearance, and quite good if you're homesick for some good pub grub. JC, I notice when you post...I'm keeping up with it...I just don't post reviews for each and every chapter...sometimes I wait several then post, or wait until the end and post. NightOwl88 Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 Nevertheless, it's good to see another new user on the board, especially a new, potential author. NightOwl88, thanks for staggering your story postings on e-fiction, I am reading some of them, so it does make it easier to follow. Your welcome Kjames, I hope you aren enjoying them Forget who? What? Uhm... what was I saying again? *knocks you out, ties you to the chair and gets jumper cables* remember me now? OH! Someone finally quote me... guess I'm not invisible after all. Dang. It is cool to get quoted.
Guest Wyndham Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 Hi everyone, new author here . For what it's worth, I support Mark Arbour's comment about being active in the forums to promote yourself as an author, but there is another advantage I believe. I have found some of the forums, MA's being one, that are almost as fascinating to read as the stories themselves - which encourages people to read the forums where they will come across authors they may not have seen before, read their stories, and the cycle continues.... Hope this makes sense . I was hesitating in starting a forum for myself being a new author, but will now give it more thought having read all these comments.
