UK GA Meet Summer 2011

After successful February GA Meet (Version 0.9 ;) ) we are proud to announce the official information on a "big" GA UK meet in 2011! :2thumbs:

As the preparatory committee decided on our meet in Manchester last weekend (which was a blast BTW ;) ) the "big" GA meet is going to take place in London, UK, the last weekend in August (a.k.a. "the banking holiday weekend"), i.e. 27th to 29th August. The date is firm and is not going to move. We're sorry but on this date we know that at least four people can attend. ;)

There are plenty of possibilities where to stay over night, where to go to eat, to have fun, etc. ;) That can be decided later. Though as for the booking for the accomodation, I advise all members who'd like to attend, to book their hotels in advance as soon as possible.

Security: the details (when we know them) will only be given in private messages and not on a public forum. Though if you are seriously interested, don't hesitate to express your interest here in this thread. We have plenty of time to become friends so that we (who are coming) are not afraid of you and you're not afraid of us. It was experimentally proved that the GA members don't bite. ;)

I'm in as well. Looking forward to see the nice people I met last week-end again, and ready to discover new faces and get to know more charming persons.

I wasn't charming enough?! :P Just kidding hehehe

Summer is turning out to be a busy period for me but, as I said above, if I can afford it ill be there :)

Hehehe, the "more" was referring to "a greater number" of charming persons...

How could they possibly be more charming? :P

You'd better...otherwise your charming self is at risk of being kidnapped and dragged to the meet :D

Bleu you make yourself seem like a terminal rapist :P

John, I hope not! :P

I was only referring to the fact that I offered to give him a ride if he needed means of transportation. I would only be "kidnapping and delivering" Agaith to all of you at the meet. :D

Do we get him wrapped with a bow... he at least has to have a stamp surely :) I hear chloroform might be useful

Sooooo... anyone has suggestions or recommendations about places to stay in London

It would be really good if we could stay together it would be more fun that way. For me the most important thing is how much it's going to costs. I really don't mind basic accommodation. All I need is a bed a chair and a toilet :)

well the idea I have is to stay in my house in reading that i will live in next uni year. then I could just travel into London from there. There is no way I can afford a hotel, so its house or nothing lol lets hope i can use my plan haha

i'm sure we can :) and yha is VERY close to the main centre of london :) i've stayed there and its quite nice for like £20 a night :P

I think they don't allow too old to yha (like over 26 or something :P ) but it might be a solution for Agaith. :)
