I am very happy someone actually enjoyed the story; although, I abandoned it a year ago for my science fiction stories, which haven't really caught any readers eye as my own love and work life have interfered.

I had an intent on writing a new type of western, but I also understand everyone has their opinions on how stories should be written. I know most of you guys don't touch Westerns at all and I am probably one of the few GA writers tempted to try my hand at it, but I am also not a big western person either (I know the history well, but not the writing style).

Do people have any ideas or interests for me to explore?

I've already touched little pieces on Mormon faith, Utah territorial conflict, post Civil War reconstruction issues, economics, and little things about the background. It's a different kind of story, where people are morally ambiguous and it is not clear, who's good or evil. My anti-hero is a former confederate soldier, who is both noble and ruthless.
