Popular Post Jason Rimbaud Posted April 25, 2025 Popular Post Posted April 25, 2025 Just now, Ron said: I see what you did there. 🙄 Ha, never say never … Am-I-right?! Truthfully, I wasn't interested in reading a response from that author. But since they took their stories and went home, some of the other comments were either thought provoking or interesting. And I was duped, the title of the topic was changed and I didn't know it was the same topic just heavily edited when I jumped back in. Either way, I rarely follow through with anything. 2 4

Site Administrator Popular Post Myr Posted April 26, 2025 Site Administrator Popular Post Posted April 26, 2025 So it seems my site also had the same drama as work this week. How lovely! Unpublishing stories and editing content after stirring up the place are two of my pet peeves. Both cause site disruptions, which I'm likewise not fond of. That is why I have the unpublish system that displays stories with why the author removed the story, and I have "Edit History" turned on for staff to see every edit to posts. "Reputation" only really means something for new authors, as they need reputation over 250 to be moved out of the Mod Queue. Reputation is gathered by reactions to content in Stories. Running up reactions in the joke thread doesn't count. That means you need to post stories, post chapters, post reviews, post story comments, post chapter comments, and have people react to them to get the rep points. Achievement points are gained mostly through creating content and getting reactions to it. Achievement points give those cute rank badges and achievement badges. Posting a new story or chapter gets many more points than a topic, post, or comment. I've tried to align the site's incentives towards the items that provide more quality content to the site. But as @Krista said, you get out of the site what you put into it. 3 12
