At first I thought that was a bunch of grapes.  Glad I didn't try to eat any.

It actually looks like a gold frog wearing black boots sitting on the skeletal remains of an alien hand.  How's that for a wild imagination?

Brazilian Wandering Spider

According to Guinness Book of World Records, these spiders are the world’s most venomous, and a drop of their venom is enough to take a life. What makes it a bigger threat to humans is that when the arachnid is not actively hunting, or wandering, at night to find prey, it hides during the day, and in densely populated areas, those hiding spots are in places like homes, cars and shoes, leading to encounters with people.

Now these are some really scary looking spiders, especially the first one.  Damn, I'm glad I don't live in Brazil, or Brasil as they spell it.

SORRY!! - I spent several hours today trying to to put a photo of my Trans Am into my album, it was 2.2 Megs, 2 Megs is the maximum allowed. I tried so many different things that now I can't even copy a joke or picture to this post, from anywhere. The same thing happened with my 'Did You Know' and now my 'Spiders'  So, bare with me until I figure it out. I am sure it is a simple solution, I'll try my best. I keep getting, Insert existing attachment or Insert image from URL.

Any suggestions would be welcomed.

Thanks in advance,

10 Red Widow Spider-bugguide

Red Widows' Bites Are Very Painful

Living in the southern and central parts of Florida, Red Widow Spiders tend to make their homes in sand dunes. Considering Florida has a lot of sand, this isn't great for the locals.

Red Widows' venom is just as strong and painful as its relatives, the Black and Brown Widows, but they are smaller and don't expel quite as much.

I love the way many spiders' colors help them blend into their environment, although that isn't always the case, but I'm also impressed that spiders seem to care for their young, in that they're always with them until they get older or their babies are always nearby.  That's a trait I didn't know about before.
